This Joe the Plumber business is nothing but total *********. This guy is a right wing Dittohead and decided to ambush Obama. He stuck his arse out in the spotlight and when you do that you can expect the ***** to hit the fan. In the first place this guy doesn''t have two nickles to rub together. He gets in Obama''s face and says that he is "getting ready" to buy a 260 thousand dollar buseness when the truth is he doesn''t have a pot to pee in. Then he whines when McCain uses his name over and over in the debate. People want to know who these people are and "Joe''s" real story started to come out. This is what the guy gets for sticking his nose in the public venue. That''s just the way it works. And the percentage of people who will ever make over 250 thousand a year is very small. This whole thing has been blown way out of porportion. Poor Joe, er Sam or Joe or Sam or.......

the reporter is a left winger, and does see that he will be taxed too. the whole entire CBS network is left wing. All i hear from CBS on the TV is Obama is so great. and McCain is so bad I say bullcrab. Your wanting Obama to win and has a media you shouldn''t be so clear on who your going for. I''ve seen that since this dang thing started last year. Obama and cliton oh my this is what the country has been wanting. BULL ***. Higher txes on the back bone of the country and wanting to unite us. higher taxes on me isn''t going to unite me. Commumist is what Obama is a step from and this Network is supporting that. what a shame

There is no real story. Anybody who thinks they are going to get a concrete answer from ANY politician is naive. NRO again making a mountain out of a mole hill. If William F Buckley was still around this kind of *** would never make it to print or screen. Good God people, McCain is trying to be a populist and a right winger at the same time. Won''t work.

Here''s the real story with "Joe the Plumber"

The liberal media is attacking an ordinary citizen because he had the audacity
to ask the liberals "messiah" tough questions that the liberal media will not ask.

The liberal media took offense that "The Chosen One" was embarrassed
by an ordinary citizen asking tough questions of "Him".

Rather than following up on these tough questions that were asked of "the messiah",
the media has decided to attack the ordinary citizen instead.

Pretty much sums it up

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - Gov. Sarah Palin charged the state for her children to travel with her, including to events where they were not invited, and later amended expense reports to specify that they were on official business.

The charges included costs for hotel and commercial flights for three daughters to join Palin to watch their father in a snowmobile race, and a trip to New York, where the governor attended a five-hour conference and stayed with 17-year-old Bristol for five days and four nights in a luxury hotel.

In all, Palin has charged the state $21,012 for her three daughters'' 64 one-way and 12 round-trip commercial flights since she took office in December 2006. In some other cases, she has charged the state for hotel rooms for the girls.

Here is your "true patriot and devout christian of the United States" Sarah Palin. This story JUST out by CBS.

Apparently, somebody forgot to tell Bush that, I guess!

And McCain wanted to go one-better than Bush, and buy up all the bank''s other "bad paper", too, without even demanding an ownership stake!

The GOP sure seems to be becoming a pro-Socialist organization to me.

No one except Flush Limbaugh and some other propaganda liars said you were going to share any money with me."

You need to tell that to Mr. Obama. He was the one that told Joe (the plumber) that "sharing your wrath with others is GOOD".

"it looks like I too will be over 250k for the first time in my life. Life is good even with the taxes."

Good for you.

"Chances are you are for the Iraq war too. "

On the contrary, I don''t support any kind of war. Yes, the world would be so nice if there were no wars. That there were no 9/11. No Al Queta. No Bin Laden . The world would be so beautiful.

I am just an average Joe - the non-plumber. What do I know?

"Paying taxes is patriotic -- dodging them is criminal.

Wake up, cheapskate!"

I didn''t complain about paying my share of taxes, did I? As they say, it''s the cost of doing business.

My question was, in case you miss it: Why should I share my money with YOU? Why should I accept Mr. Obama''s notion that "sharing wrath with others is good...". Last I check, this is not a Socialist country.

Maybe because you live here and use all the things that taxes provide just as much as anybody else that lives here does? Doh!

You drive on public roads paid for with tax dollars, you enjoy Police and Fire protection, which cost tax dollars, our military defends your country and that takes LOTS of taxes. When you get old you''ll collect Social Security and Medicare and those cost tax dollars. Your schools cost tax dollars. Your sea ports and airports cost tax dollars. Your courts and jails and prisons cost tax dollars.

I could go on and on, but I''ll spare you.

Suffice it to say that there''s no such thing as a "free lunch" - even for cheap-assed Republicans that don''t want to pay their fair share of the cost of running and maintaining this country.

Your tax dollars keep you free and safe, with them you buy "civilization".

Paying taxes is patriotic -- dodging them is criminal.

Wake up, cheapskate!

''These "Joes" are frightened little people.''

''it is obvious Joe was a plant,''

Look what happens when somebody dares to question "Obama, the messiah"

Yes, I made over $250K last year. I don''t apologize for it. It took me 30 years of hard work to get to where I am. I used to walk 2-3 hours to work in order to save the bus fare. Now tell me why I should share my money with you or anybody else?

And yes, I paid my share of taxes, all 26% of it.

It doesn''t seem to come to anybodies notice, but you don''t have to have a license to be a plumber, nor do you need to be in a union. Most states do require a license to be a contractor however. Joe the plumber never said he was a contractor, he just wants to be someday. Get your facts straight before you make a fool out of yourself, again.

Are candidates, their campaign managers and strategists immune from being sued for libel and slander? I am truly wondering about this, considering all the lies and filth being slung around against their rival just because they can''t think of anything positive about their own candidate.

These "Joes" are frightened little people. Chuckle nuts McSame or Failin or Rove mention the word terrorist and they start asking for mommy. The fact is that the real terrorists are Bush, Cheney, McCain and the Republicans since war = terror. They STILL have the little brained Americans on the run. Wow!!!!

Isn''t it amazing how many nutjobs listen to Flush?

Evidently they dont realize they are listening to the rants of a drug addict.

Just like the Manson and Hitler and James Jones followers.
