Barack Obama is a socialist who has with the help of the press reinvented himself for the election. Chicago is an example of failed experiment. The Chicago establishment embrassed socialist like Ayers and Dorhn and encouraged their efforts to at the highest level of politics in Chicago. It didn''t work in Chicago and it will not work for the rest of the country. Chicago''s failure was not for the lack of funding, it was for the flaws of the socialist agenda. Ayers and Dorhn did not stop domestic terrorism they only changed their weapon of choice from bombs to eductation. The later scares me more than the first. They didn''t educate the children they promoted hate and division between the people in america. They didn''t teach the youth how to succeed, but how to be a victum. The Ayers & Dorhn issue caused me to research Ayers'' prior writings which clearly indiate his position and intention. I had thought that America was on the wrong track and now I am certain of it. Our children will never be able to obtain the american dream, but will only be working to pay for more unsuccessful programs.

I''''ve been noticiing that there are two basic types of posts on sites such as this one. One type is rationally trying to make a valid point in a courteous manner; the other type is a hateful, vicious epithet filled rant that is totally irrational. This leads me to believe that part of the millions going to the Obama campaign coffers currently being secretly funneled in from the Middle East might be going to pay his minions to monitor sites such as this one and spread this kind of hate-filled propaganda in order to confuse those people who have trouble distinguishing a lie when they hear one. Particularly when the lie is repeated over and over and over again.

I can tell you who the real Barack Obama is, hence why I''''m voting for McCain/Palin. It''''s the people who are voting for Obama who don''''t know who he is. These people are voting on hope instead of valid proof and accountability. It''''s like investing in an unknown small and new company, compared to a solid company that has a good record. Makes no sense to me.

Nonsense!!! We''ve done our ''due diligence'' and have come to the conclusion that he is the BETTER candidate.

BTW--realclearpolitics.com is showing the AVERAGE of polls as being up for Obama by 6.6 points.

Isn''t it ironic that republicans are usually the fist to tell you how much of a Christian they are, and how against abortion and gay rights they are, but at the same time they have no concern for their fellow Americans - let the poor go out and get a job they say, and stop the "lazy, broke poor folk" from taking my tax money. Yet they have no problem handing over a TRILLION dollars to invade a foreign country for oil (resources), or to save a failed banking industry at the expense of the the middle class. Go figure.

Mel130nygirl, get a job. You obviously have too much time on your hands.
An Obama presidency means more of my money to losers who don''''t pay any taxes now and still want a hand-out from the government. I''''ve had to pull myself up from the ''''projects'''' and give my fair share to charity. But I want nothing to do with Socialist Barry''''s vision of America.

People like you simply make me sick!

You make the ridiculous assumption that people who don''t agree with you don''t bother to try to work.

Here''s a news flash for ya, kiddo--not only do we work, but some people, like myself, work well over 40 hrs/wk (w/o overtime pay because we''re on salary)--plus I''''ve had to deal with commuting up to 5-6 hrs a DAY!

Do the flippin'' math and then come back and have the nerve to tell ME that I''m LAZY!!!

ofbyfor3 You''re not lazy, you''re just rich and feel that you are entitled. You think that those who produce have "earned" their right to produce, and have "earned" the resources which you have stolen from the rest of us. If you are a humanitarian at all then you will stop claiming that the rich should be left untouched while the poor and hardworking who bust their *** everyday to just barely get by should pay all of the debts of society.

We should tax WEALTH, and not WORK, as republicans so often want to do. I trust Barack Obaman much more tha McCain to not waste taxpayer money and pander to filthy rich multi national corporations the way Bush did.

You radical anti-Obama people have been brainwashed by years of right wing propaganda. FOX "news", Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter and the numerous clones.

This malarky that Democrats are "socialist", and Obama is a "terrorist" is all untrue, but you guys apparently (like Palin who can''''t name a single newspaper) are not well enough informed to recognize it when people lie to you.

This is dangerous for our nation.

The Republican party has lost its way... McCain doesn''''t even know what he stands for anymore. Palin is not only unintelligent, she knows nothing about our government or the world, and she is affiliated with radical groups in Alaska that do not honor the US constitution.

Bush/McCain economics and Bush wars may just bring this nation to its knees... time for a Democrat to take over.

If you do not have and need, then get out there and earn it. Sorry that you all feel things are owed to you, they are not. If you take from the producers and give to the non-producers, will only lead to the producers stopping to produce. Then who will be screwed, the non-producers.

''We really don''t believe he was born in Hawaii,'' Berg said. ''We think
he was born in Kenya.'' The presidential candidate''s father, Barack
Obama Sr., was born and raised in a small village in Kenya, according
to Obama''s campaign Web site.

http://groups.google.com/group/misc.legal/browse_thread/thread/5b52bd152b1c339c

It doesn''t freaking matter WHERE he was born so long as his mother was a U.S. citizen.

BTW, conspiracy theorists, Hawaii HAS verified his birth certificate!

No--we DO know who he is--because we have taken the time to do our ''due diligence'' (research). Your ''solid company'' has a horrible record, NOT a ''good one.''

Educate yourself before you make your judgements, please.

Who is the Real Sarah Palin?

She''s corrupt.

She''s dumb.

And she''s a dangerous rabble rouser.

She does not have the moral authority to point fingers at her opponent.

GAME OVER

How stupid. If you can read you can answer this question. If you have eyes and ears or a reasonable facsimile of that you can learn the answer with a little attention.

Barack Obama is literally the most easily known person who I''ve lived to witness run for office. It was easier to find his life, education, and political record than it was for any other candidate I''ve ever researched*. It took me longer to research Joe Biden and he was my original choice during the primaries. There is nothing in Barack Obama''s life now that has not been researched, scrutinized, documented, and made clear. And frankly all you have to do is watch him with his family and you know all you need to about his basic character. His political record is painfully straightforward. His balanced negotiation style is similar to my own and so I feel he is like me in being logical and deliberative instead of confrontational and combative. Get used to it. We might just be lucky enough and wise enough to elect a truly qualified leader of the free world this time. I think Barack Obama is almost as well qualified as Bill Clinton and in many ways - although I very much admire and appreciate Bill and Hillary Clinton''s time of governance - I think Barack Obama is better suited to deal with the current crisis then any of the candidates we''ve chosen from on either party roster.

I''m who I''m said the Lord, and so alike is OBAMA. He''s a fellow who knows well what is actually good for AMERICA. I think it''s a great chance to pick someone like him as our next president.

I am 60+ yrs old & this is the scariest election that I can remember since I was old enough to vote. I STILL don''t know who my choice is as I don''t care for either candidate & cannot even decide on which candidate is the lesser of 2 evils.
Lots of people that we have spoken with feel the same way. The internet also is full of people with doubts.
These are scary times & the choices are scary also. We are now getting inundated with ads from Obama since he bought a satellite station. Almost every 15 minutes there is an ad.....makes one feel like mind control is taking place.

This is also the most stressful election that I can remember. If I survive it all, I may not even vote in the end or I may go into the polling place still not decided & have to toss a coin. I just don''t understand why I can''t make up my mind in this case.

It would have been so much easier (for me) if Colin Powell had run &/or Clinton had made the ticket.

The only one I like out of all of them is Biden - but - he is the VP choice & even he has been kept under wraps with his speeches. I would like for him to let loose & be his old self. Now that would be something to watch.

*sigh* - such difficult choices
