And so... it begins. The fall of the neocon regime. Bush and his cronies are on his way out, and is beginning to look like people are wising up on McSame.

Endless war.
Boundless corruption.
A wrecked economy.
Constant lies.
A weakening of our world standing.

That''''s all it took. That''''s all it took for enough American partisans to pull their heads out of their backsides long enough to understand that they were in trouble with Bush and the Neocons.

Maybe now we can get a few things done.

First McLame cancels one day of the GOP Convention so he does not have to been seen standing on stage with McBush and blames it on a hurricane and now he "suspends his campaign" and blames it on the economy.

Guess he knows Obama will kick his arse and wants to delay it as long as possible.

If he lived in the real world and had to buy things like food, and gas, and back to school clothes and pay rent or a mortgage notes he''d know the economy has been terrible for at least a year now.

But he lives in one of 7 different mansions with his rich wife who goes shopping with her socialite friends for $300,000 dresses.

McSame needs to get real. The voters are not stupid. We can no longer afford to be.

I think he should "suspend" his run for the Presidency so we can send Obama to the Oval Office right now and begin to fix this mess America finds itself in.

America needs real change. America needs Sen. Obama

Palin''s comment in the Curic interview, "What I say and what I do are two completely different things..."

Sums up the McCain campaign entirely. Say anything, do anything, just as long as you get into power.

McCain and Obama are both politicians. They will both be beholden to someone when they get into office.

It kind of makes anything said in this comments section worthless.

Now e come to find out that McSame''s campaign manager is on the payroll for Freddie Mac. Talk about corruption and conflict of interest. Why do we want 4 more years of the McSame?

From the above article, "By this point it had become clear even to many of McCain''s admirers that there was a pattern at work: He was running a campaign that was unusually, perhaps even uniquely, dishonest.

Unusually GWB-like.

%u201CI do understand the importance of the computer,%u201D Mr. McCain reassured in The San Francisco Chronicle last week. %u201CI understand the importance of the blogs.%u201D He said, %u201CI am forcing myself %u2014 let me put it this way, I am using the computer more and more every day.%u201D But keeping up with technology %u201Cdoesn%u2019t mean that I have to e-mail people,%u201D he said. %u201CNow, I read e-mails.%u201D The staff is %u201Cconstantly showing them to me as the news breaks during the day.%u201D

jjredding-cite your source for mccain and the whole computer thig. I do believe ole joe biden even thought that was a low blow by the chosen one.
As for the drilling issue, not what I heard. I''ll do a computer search to find out exactly what the bill allowed. And I will cite my source. Just heard harry ried is throwing up some road blocks on shale drilling and adding it to other bills.

xlib - are you in a contest with McCain as to who tells the most and biggest lies? Congress has NOT left on vacation and the bill that passed allowing off-shore drilling yesterday (or the day before) allows for drilling within THREE MILES of the coast. New tourist attractions for the east and west coast - come see our shiny new oil rigs in the pristine ocean view.

xlib - the reason McCain can''t use a computer is that he simply hasn''t felt the need to learn how, NOT because he can''t lift his arms. Geez, you people will stop at nothing, won''t you.

The latest McCain advert is yet another lie, stating that Obama has ''remained mum'' on the financial crisis. I don''t know how this man can sleep at night knowing how many lies he has pandered.

Republican politicians have no respect for the truth. It''s no accident that the most lying president, and most corrupt, in our history is Bush, a Republican. Bush is a watershed and every Republican administration that follows has the potential to be even worse. It is tolerated because Republican voters seem to have no disdain for the lies unlike their Democratic counterparts. It is sad also because many of these voters share no common economic interests with Republicans but think they have the same values. In the meantime, these Republicans are running this country into the ground and we are powerless to stop it.

billmelBar-you must be one of the few civil libs around. Honestly, civil liberals are few and far between. I''ve had the misfourtune of being one of the only conservatives in an office full of libs and you can believe me when I say, they were vicious to say the least.
However, we should drill along with working on other alternative fuels. I find it interesting that your congress left for vacation without working on an energy bill. That is, after they turned out the lights on the Republicans. It is also interesting that they gave permission to drill 50 miles off shore knowing that the oil is closer.
So, that being said, I understand the trucker'';s frustration. Shame your congress doesn''t care about that.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident..." is a meaningless statement IF truth is relative. Relative truth is what enables terrorists to justify killing 3000 innocent Americans. We have been living in a relative-truth-vortex for eight years and it is sucking the life out of middle america while encouraging more terrorist networks. Either wittingly or unwittingly McCain has been a supporter of this relative truth philosophy.

The New York Times and Washington Post are some of the few papers left that still defend democracy that the Constitution envisioned. ALL the TV networks just pander to sub-constituencies that just want to hear what they want to hear on a 24 hour tread-mill.

Let America read the truth until she gets it or drowns under an ocean of lies.

terrapin78-Ah yes, another keating 5 post. Funny how you people suffer from memory loss. Now, once again, mccain was cleared of any wrong doing. And, you all fail to mention that the other 4 were dems.
But, keep bringing it up and I''ll keep correcting, no problem.

balto_babs-Did you read my post? The one you cut and pasted? You took it as a challenge, I meant it as a request. Funny how differently we see things. Anyway, I clearly stated that I did not see the mccain ad the poster mentioned. I clearly stated I read the news piece about the snub on cnn. Now, as far as I know, cnn is one of your many, many msm who are in the tank for your messiah.
Now, any take on the Spanish speaking ads put out by the messiah saying that mccain is against immigration?? Last I knew he wrote the amnesty bill with your teddy. So, I call that an outright lie, don''t you??
Also, that was a bit low on the messiah ad making fun of mccain because he can''t use a computer. The reason the man can''t use a computer is because of the injuries he sustained in Vietnam.
So, hope you get this post.
