End the legal fiction that corporations are people. Then we can end the IRS and go to a sales tax that automatically includes the 11 million aliens.
End the legal fiction that corporations are people and get companies out of the referendum business.
End the legal fiction that companies are people and tax all sales on goods.
25% of major corps paid no fed income tax in 2005. Did you?

should win handily? Really? Tell that to the Southerners who share emails in which they purport to have had dreams in which God told them the candidate is the anti-christ. When you are dealing with dark forces, there is no end to the evil they will invent in the name of power.

@ justbill5,

There is simple proof that Reagan''s policies were benefitial and those of the progressives are not. Just look around. We are the only super-power in the world. Societies with similar values as that of the progressives (like much of Europe) dont do bad; sure I''ll say that. But they are not great. They are absolutely stagnant compared to the U.S. But then again, I get the impression that most progressives wouldnt mind bringing down the U.S. to a more level playing field as the rest of the world. Why I cant imagine.

infe5...you''re right! Let''s cut those taxes for the rich and wealthy and let the benefits trickle down to...uh...wait, we know that doesn''t work. That made a mess for nearly twenty years.

Your claim of socialism and your delusion that we live in a "free-trade society" betrays everything anyone would want to know about your ability to be intelligently thoughtful on this topic.

Wonderful! Lets increase taxes on the rich and stifle industry! Surely that is the way to grow our country''s power and prosperity! The wealthiest 5% of Americans already contribute 60% of ALL income tax. Progressives (i.e. un-focused socialists) continue to promote this idealogical bribe over and over. Completely ignoring the countless failures of this ideology over the course of history. If you can''t enjoy the benefits and riches of innovating and doing business because youre taxed to death, why bother? There will ALWAYS be inequalities in standards of living when there is a finite pool of resources; it''s a simple fact of life. It''s like the minimum wage in reverse; if youre going to set a minimum, why not make it $20 an hour? Because arbitrary limits do not work in a free-trade society. The same goes for grossly dis-proportionate tax rates imposed on industry and the wealthy.
