so people seem to like to post some parts of the course here... sounds like a good course in alternative views... nobody has explained why anyone would object to students taking this course... looks like a good thing. Unless maybe you are so clueless you think that anyone who is exposed to a point of view has to adopt it... that is really stupid and fortunately these students are a lot smarter than that.

Gee, Tammy, where did I say that I''m a "Mexican". I''m pretty *** American, actually. American enough to question my country when it needs to be questioned, and to acknowledge that its history isn''t perfect.

Mexico "stole" land from Spain by the same means that the US "stole" land from England. By revolution. There''s a difference between outside invasion and internal revolution.

It is a pity that those of the American left are called liberal. Liberalism implies tolerance of others'' ideas. Unfortunately, people like you have no ability to tolerate the views of others and consider only "hate Bush, hate America, hate capitalism, hate doctors" articles worthy of publication.

I read articles from all points of view and while I would disagree with the contents of many, I would not deny them the right to publish. I guess that''s the difference between us.
