I honestly don''t care what they do. They also say it''s nobody''s business. They''re also the ones who make more of a stink about their choices in public, so we have a right to respond too. Or maybe I do care. Many otherwise worthwhile people have died a slow and horrific death because of the selfishness inherent in that lifestyle choice.

I still think Democrats should tread lightly. They should appear tolerant of behavior that many Americans still find immoral, but NOT advocating of that behavior. They must remain as neutral as possible on these topics, because in actuality the jury is still OUT on what direction Americans want to go: most are still conflicted by the topic, as represented by the Cheney family. Americans value their image as tolerant, but they do NOT forgive actions that appear to PROMOTE behavior''s foreign to their own sensibilities.

Dems are getting a pass this Fall on social issues because most Americans have finally begun to realize that the irresponsible fiscal and international behavior of the Bush administration is going to have REAL consequences for their lives in the future. Many realize we CANNOT continue down this path, and worry that McSame will take us down it.

But if you SCARE them that gay, black, muslim, criminals will be out of jail trying to get their children, they''ll go back in their cave again, and allow the real rape and pillaging of America to continue. And THAT would be a tragedy.
