I guess for me it comes down to a trust issue.

I don''t trust Obama, and he hasn''t convinced me to trust him. I''d rather pet a dog that I know bites, than one I don''t know if it''s gentle or will bite my hand off. The unknown is a little concerning.

When I first saw Obama speak at Kerry''s convention, I thought, that man needs to run for president one day. I didn''t expect him to run the next day. I was hoping to see some substance first from him.

He''s thrown out a bunch of bills with his name on it, he''s embellished his efforts on issues that he didn''t help with.

I guess I''m mistrustful of someone so up and coming that has no patience to build foundations.

What is his rush? Why the hurry? Does he have a secret agenda to push forth? Why does he deny so much that is white within him? Why does he bare similar hatred like Wright?

How did he feel hearing the class war of the "rich man" vs "poor man" when he is a millionaire with an Ivy League education?

And I guess I worry about the resentments of a man with an absent father. He appears to have such a lack of identity, even he refers to it in his books. I personally feel sorry for his estranged childhood of a freaky absent mother, and absent father. But what psychosis did this present to him?

And his choice of ''uncles'' is a little problematic for me.

Otherwise, I was all for the guy. Now, I just distrust him.

The hollower, the better. We don''t need our next president to do things for us. We''ve already seen how fecked up that is. We need a candidate who will just hold the office while we the people do the work and govern the country. The less our president gets in the way the better. A president who just does what the people tell him to is impossible to challenge--just ask Bill Clinton. That was the successful formula that worked for him, even when everyone wanted to impeach him.

Oh Yea.!!!!

And look at what the current administration has done for this country.

The price of oil at over $100.00 dollors a barrel.

Where are the WMD''s.????

Where is Bin-laden.?????

Look at how well the SURGE is going.

Fighting in Basra.

The main oil pipe up in Iraq is up in flames.

The Taliban are making a strong comeback in Afghanistan.

Every American General who advised against this was RETIRED. And who drove the bus. CHICK-$HIT-HAWKS. Who have NEVER done anything, but line their own pockets in the name of public service.

In other words, Obama likes to talk, but not do much else. No wonder he wants to be President.

His voting record is absent on major issues.

Perhaps you should take a look at who missed which votes and when. The ONLY Senator to miss more votes than McCain, was Tim Johnson who, "suffered a brain hemorrhage on Dec. 13, 2006, and spent several months recovering". Check it out - McCain missed a full *** 100 *** more votes than Obama did!!

What exactly is Obama''s claim to fame?

A black man that doesn''t live ebonomics.

Ebonomics economics of the ghetto. Follows the prices of but not limited to: Drugs, ho''s, fire arms, bling bling and a standard car pimping.

Ok, he speaks well and has a good job. What else?

What exactly has he ever actually done other than write several autobiographies? He does seem to love himself greatly.

McCain is the only decent choice for president. He''''s not the best, but he''''s far better than anyone the democraps have ever come up with in the 43yrs. I''''ve been alive. I have never benefited from anything a democrap has done for our country, but every republican president has benefitted me in some way, and I am a lower middle class person. McCain RULES!!!!

Apparently you have noticed the devastation wreaked on our country by the last three republican presidents.

Reagan armed the taliban, Iraq, and Iran, helped foster the Iran-Iraq war and kept it going by arming both sides, while having the CIA sell weapons to Iran so that he could help fund the terrorists in Nicaragua. Reaganomics was a miserable failure for the working people, as all that it really accomplished was to bust unions, handing all economic power to the very wealthy. How much trickled down to you?

Bush Sr. was, in typical republican fashion, economically stupid. His policies resulted in higher taxes, and left us with a VERY nasty two year long recession. His foreign policies were virtually non-existent, and his cozy relations with the terrorist sponsoring Saudi royal family is well documented.

I could go on for HOURS describing everything that Bush Jr. did to this country, and if you can''t see it for yourself, then your probably too blind to see it if I pointed it out to you anyway.

I DON''''T RECALL MANY WHITE MALES CALLING FOR " G. D. AMERICA." AND I AM SURE NO WHITE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES ARE CALLING FOR "G D AMERICA."

Posted by crater7 at 09:31 AM : Mar 27, 2008

Please tell us all -- when and where has ANY presidential candidate EVER said "GD America" regardless of their skin color?

Last I checked, Rev. Wright was NOT running for president. Or are you saying that because one black man said it, then that must be the sentiment of them all?

"Weekly Standard: Presidential Hopeful Forges Wow-Factor Words, But No Political Action Plan"

So the trashy "Weekly Standard" thinks that Obama doesn''t have a typical "political action plan", and they think that''s an issue?

Of course they do!!! They advocate the "same old - same old" broken government of inaction and ineffectiveness as being the best way forward for our country. That''s why they''re also advocates of the republican party.
