Perception5: I reference the Saturday Night Live skits as proof.

Thankfully, not all Americans are thinking at your fifth grade level.

What a crock; the Nation is ridiculous. If you want to know where all the anti-Obama propaganda is coming from you only need look at the person next to him at the next debate. The Clinton slime machine is what has come after Obama, not the "evil" conservatives. Check your facts; there may be conservatives bashing him like that Cunningham idiot in Ohio, but those conservatives are speaking to an audience that would never have voted for Obama anyway!! The people, in their lust for power, that are willing to take out Obama to get it are the Clintons!! The media has given Obama a free ride; 83% of news about him is favorable according to the independent Center for Jounalism Excellence; 83%!! I bet you could have measured Romney''s in the teens!! Now, all the Muslim stuff; terrorist links, etc...all BS, anyone with a brain knows that. But it is fair game and I hope used extensively that the man who was his pastor for 20 years and who married him and Michelle is an anti-American zealot. It is more than ok to compare our future presidents by the company they keep and who they say themselves inspire them. My campaign ad in the fall would have Barack''s quotes about his pastor and about surrender in Iraq interspersed with his pastor''s anti-White, anti-American rhetoric; and that''s not smearing that''s doing exactly what should be done scrutinizing the man who could become the most powerful person on the planet for the company he keeps!! THAT is legitimate and smart.

Gee Whiz "The Nation" take a chill pill and look in the mirror.

The Nation is a vile left-wing hate magazine that is a "den" of ultr-liberal reporters.

The Nation has no problems spreading their hate, lies, smears, and distortions when it come to Republicans.

Now this "Gobbels" like propaganda campaign.

It''s a FACT that Obama has received an unfair advantage over all other candidates running that comes directly from the most corrupt institution in America, our mostly liberal MSM wolfpack press.

I reference the Saturday Night Live skitts as proof.

The Nation needs to bring diversity to their liberal staff and begin to include not exclude moderates and conservatives..............what a really sad magazine.

As I have remarked in previous letters: Both of the two democratic hopefuls, arm in arm, can take a long walk. There''s no class there. Commanders in chief? Of what? Our armed forces? Heaven forbid!! Neither are qualified to lead the nation. These are very dangerous and critical times. The Muslims remember their empire of yesteryear and have eyes on repeating it beginning with North Africa and Spain. We''re in their sights. God help us if we don''t elect the right people. Quarar

Paris1969, The Nation and The New Republic slant Democratic, while The National Review and The Weekly Standard slant Republican. All four appear on CBS. Depending upon your political leanings, any of the four can enrage you.

THE SMEAR MACHINE GRINDS ON;

THE ONLY SMEAR MACHINE THAT CONCERNS ME IS SELF INFLICTED.

OBAMA''S REFUSAL TO DENOUNCE THE RACIST, ANTI AMERICAN PREACHINGS OF HIS CHURCH, AND THE REV WRIGHT, LEADS ONE TO BELIEVE THAT HE CONDONES THE CHURCH''S BELIEFS AND IS A RACIST HIMSELF. AMERICA SHOULD TAKE A LONG HARD LOOK AT THIS SIDE OF MR. OBAMA.

"That''''s why Hillary is popular with Dems lacking a high school education."

... I have a doctorate and I voted for and contributed to Hillary''s campaign. The Obama camp is a cult ... it does not matter what comes out about him for many of them ... they will blindly follow. Education and money does not give "elitist" people ... common sense!

Geraldine! When the likes of Sean Hannity are patting you on the head--guess what--you''re not helping or being a friend to the Democratic party. Wake up!

Of course the Clintons are in many ways pretty Republican. It looks like Hillary has more in common with John McCain than with Dems. That''s why Hillary is so unpopular with the illiterate wing of the Democratic party--they have no idea that she''s really allied with McCain.

I really don''t understand why CBS continues to put these "opinions" from The Nation on their website. These people are so biased. It''s okay that Obama''s people ATTACK AND SMEAR Geraldine Ferraro, who has worked for human and civil rights for years ... but just the mention of anything negative or the questioning of Obama ... and The Nation tries to beat the people down. This is no different than the tactics the Bush people used against the people who were against the war in Iraq!
Come on CBS ... get back to legitimate reporting!!!

If a person wants to hate someone they just have to find a reason.

Awwwwwwww, the poor baby! People are picking on him and trying to distort his record and his life! Awwwwwwww....Awwwwwwwwwww...Awwwwwwwww!

Evidently the writer of this article hasn''t peaked into the postings of this board and watched the Hillary hating shills distorting, and posting complete and total lies about her record and her accomplishments, her stances on her record, and accusing her of racism, dirty politics, and calling her a lesbian.

This is just too freaking funny!

"Among conservatives, Fox News has endlessly amplified such rumors. Karl Rove, a new hire by the network, recently speculated that Obama would withdraw funding for Israel."

Karl Rove, are we ever going to get rid of this guy??? The Democrats just don''t have the stomach to fight dirty like this bunch of nut jobs.
