Comments on: Romney Is McCain's Best VP Option
Weekly Standard: Former Rival Has Superior Ratio Of Virtues To Drawbacks Over Other Choices
- Romney is a fraud. To me, Romney would be the worst VP pick possible. I would vote for Clinton and whomever before I would vote for McCain and Romney.
A better bet would be a VP pick of someone like a Duncan Hunter. I don''t know much about the man, but at least I like what I do know of him. - Reply to this comment
- ===We''''ve always been told by our corrupt liberal wolfpack press and the Dems that they want to "help" poor people.so why aren''''t these "one-party" deep blue cities.UTOPIA''''s?===

Because every time we suggest increasing aid to help the poor, neocons like you go ballistic and complain about why these poor people don''t just work harder in life like you neocons do. And when we suggest increasing education money to the inner cities, neocons like you flip out about why are we wasting your tax dollars on "socialism" programs (though you have no problems giving your tax dollars to Exxon and other big corporations).
America has the resources to help the poor. But a good portion of the country just doesn''t want to use those resources. They''d rather spend a trillion dollars in Iraq in a useless war than help Americans. - Reply to this comment
- And yes, I do know that Mormons believe Laban''s "plates" are the same brass plates that allegedly turned up later.
Reminds me of the Kinderhook plates...which turned out to be a hoax...
...or the long-lost "Book of Abraham," which just happened to turn up in the hands of a traveling salesman in Ohio... and which turned out to be not a book of Abraham, but an Egyptian funereal description containing no mention of Abraham or the Jews.
I''m sorry, but you have been dreadfully deceived... and so has Mitt Romney. That''s not the ONLY reason I wouldn''t vote for him, but it''s one of them. - Reply to this comment

- RE: "Romney is the closest thing to a carnival huckster there is in this years elections."
I did get a little suspicious in the last debate when he started handing out free cotton candy to the audience. - Reply to this comment
- BTW, I wasn''t looking up my answer in a book... I was busy responding to the absurd suggestion about Chafee.

- Romney is the closest thing to a carnival huckster there is in this years elections. They guys views on any issue change faster than you can blink and these are not considered changes--these are all politics. When Romney ran against Kennedy he told the *** that they deserved more than civil union they deserved marriage--oops changed that position.
When he ran for governor he was pro choice and pro stem cell research--when he started thinking about running for prez as a republican--just like mission impossible the secretary will disavow any knowledge of your previous positions. This "true conservative" is a bunch of bull anyway, but Romney is a prostitute from way back--I''''d rather have someone who disagrees with me and is at least honest about it

- Hosers22, You asked me to tell you what Laban means in the book of Mormon. If memory serves, Laban was decapitated by Nephi, supposedly at the command of the Lord, in order to get some records of the Jews that Laban had possession of.
Now I have a question for you... please tell us what Brigham Young meant when he preached about the necessity of "blood atonement." (For your convenience, the reference is Journal of Discourses, vol. 4)
Have a nice night everyone! - Reply to this comment
- Hey toots (LoveAmerica) can''t find a book to look it up?? Come on, someone with an IQ of 500 should be able to pop the answer right out of their swollen head. If they had actually read the book, that is.
