McCain/Lieberman is going to be the ticket. McCain will carry the Midwest/south, Lieberman will carry the Jewish vote plus the northeast.

Incredible. First, McCain makes the most asinine statement of the campaign:

"I don''t think Americans care if we are in Iraq for 10 years, 100 years, 10,000 years."

DUH! Probably the single most important issue of discontented Americans, including me, and McCain dismisses it.

Second will be if McCain selects, or the Republican big wigs force Bushes ineffectual shill, Condoleeza Rice as McCain''s vice presidential running mate.
This woman, Rice, should never have left academia and it would be wise if she returned to that profession post haste. It would be another nail in the Republican coffin to have this Bush puppet as McCain''''s running mate.

May I suggest two possibilities that would be far better than Condoleeza Rice as a McCain VP and perhaps give him an edge.

Britney Spears or Paris Hilton. Either would add some class to his campaign.

Well put and they are abundant.

Arrogantly ignored the warnings of an imminent Al Quida attack on US soil thereby allowing the deaths of 3000 US citizens with no action taken at ll to thwart it. This alone should have had her up on charges of negligent homicide.

She actively took part in cherry-picking intelligence information to knowingly present a false assessment of the Iraq threat, thus getting us into an illegal pre-emptive war that has cost the lives of nearly 4000 US soldiers. Again, she shouldn''t be representing the US , she should be doing time.

I disagree. Her failings don''t reflect anymore on women in general, than Bush, Hitler, or bin Laden reflect on men.
