Mona Charen. Hmmmmmm, nice name!
Never heard of you before.
Could it be that you''re just another attention seeking Jewish-American princess scratching her way up the ladder of success at that pathetic, thinly veiled pro Israel rag.
There is a reason you are inundated with mail supporting Ron Paul.
Can you think what that reason is?
....and as for who your candidate is....Ariel Sharon probably

Mona, How much are they paying you to publish false accusations? Either that, of you have done hardly any homework on your subject matter. Either way, you come across as a fool. Also, it reflects poorly on CBS.

Mona,
I hope they pay you well enough to sleep with being crooked. Ron Paul has a hard enough time getting coverage in the paid off media, but garbage journalism like this is sad. It''s also sad to me that you consider anyone who studies things for themselves and realizes that most people don''t know our true history a kook and conspiracy theorist. Those are just propaganda terms like terrorist and war are these days.

It should be no surprise that Mona Charen and the statist, neocon National Review are opposed to Ron Paul and limited government. After all, Pres. Bush has increased federal spending at twice the rate that Clinton did while he was in office.

Neocons are even more addicted to big government and controlling the sheeple than the Democrats are.

After all, government is all about controlling the people. It is refreshing to hear a candidate who speaks of liberty and freedom instead of govt imposed tyranny.

"Dissent is the highest form of patriotism." -Benjamin Franklin.
Radical Ideas are what make this country great. America is in desperate need of change. Don''t hate Ron Paul just because he actually listens to the American people, no matter how radical their ideas may be.

Good article. A lot of people have put two and two together and now realize what drives the Ron Paul phenomenon isn''t even politics - it''s the Internet mob who are enthralled that THEY (think) they have this power to deluge voters electronically and get someone elected. The Ron Paul people I spoke with were as dumb as a rock and just kept repeating the same things over and over. When you ask them a question they just change the subject. Look at all the postings on these discussion sites - they just keep posting the same thing over and over again. It doesn''t even have anything to do with the Democrats or the Republicans. Scary. Reminds me of a cult.

We as Americans need to stomp all the neo.cons, rightwing-nuts, hate mongers, fascist corporate elite & radical American clerics back into their small filthy corner of the universe. That malodorous region from which they have crawled like roaches to multiply and plague the US government and political landscape this past quarter century.

Let''s return the GOP to it''s rightful heirs those who care most deeply for the rights of the individual over government and corporate greed.

Great Republicans like Abe Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt & Dwight D. Eisenhower will forever inspire generations of American leadership to follow the path of true honor through service to these ideals.

President Eisenhower once said ~ "Good judgment seeks balance and progress; lack of it eventually finds imbalance and frustration."

Major imbalance and frustration my fellow Americans is where we stand today thanks entirely to the poor judgment of George W. Bush and his fellow pseudo-republican cronies in our current government.

The Repubs have to be freaking out about this guy... a right wing candidate that actually talks sense instead of sound bites. I find a lot Ron Paul has to say very appealing although he''s more of a Libertarian than a Republican, but nonetheless, he''s running as a Republican and will not get my vote, and it doesn''t matter who''s running anyway. Unless Bush stages a coup, the Repulicans will be out of power for a long time to come.

He is a Libertarian! That says it all right there for me. They are further to the right than the Republican''s are. I listened to some of what he had to say on Jon Stewart''s Daily Show one night. All it is the same old Republican ''waste and spend'' program! Don''t do anything for the little people! Make certain the wealthy get fed. Thanks but I will take a Democrat!

Hey Mona,
Point 1: What politician isn''t inconsistant?

Point 2: Ike said to beware of the military industrial complex and Nixon had Kissinger (without whom Nixon wouldn''t have accomplished what he did).

Point 3: We really need to clean house and starting with these institutions would be a good starting point.

Point 4:What politician doesn''t have members of the fringe donating to their cause. At least it''s better than PAC monies and lobbyists who are buying their votes...

Oh, please.Who couldn''t see through this. OMG, the Israeli lobby might lose control of America. OMG freak out. We might start governing ourselves for a change. OMG, call Michael Medved.
