Since comparing republicans vs. democrats is an argument which never goes anywhere,
let%u2019s instead compare democrat vs. democrat..
let%u2019s say Clinton vs. J.F. Kennedy.

The CLINTON and CURRENT Democrat philosophy on governing/government is:

1)%u201CBig Government will provide for you%u201D, &
2)%u201CFrom cradle to grave, Big Government will take care of you%u201D, &
3)%u201CIt takes a Village%u201D(Big Government)

WHEREAS J.F. KENNEDY said :
%u201CAsk not what your country can do for you, but rather what you can do for your country%u201D

These two philosophies (both democrat) are complete polar opposite of each other.

I would much rather be a J.F. Kennedy democrat than a Clinton socialist.

J.F. Kennedy also instituted tax cuts on the top rates to spur a sluggish economy.(hmmmm%u2026%u2026.sounding familiar)

Sounds like the NeoCommies and MoveOn.org have hijacked a democrat party
that I once knew and respected.

But I%u2019m not a republican, so what%u2019s an average American supposed to do ??

Divorcing themselves from religious nut jobs and giving up the war on *** would do wonders for them. Their bizarre obsession with the *** is long tired. Here''s a thought offer realistic solutions to real problems. Stop chasing toothless monsters with plastic swords.

You idiots just don''t get it. The American people are going to reject republicans as the party of failure. There has not been a single success the Bush admin can point to.

I disagree, they succeeded at:
$Getting $Rich$,
$Trashing the constitution
$Ruining our domestic manufacturing base
$Converting the value of our money to chump change
$Mortgaging our country up to $30,000 per citizen
$Trashing international relations to the point that only the country spawning the 9/11 terrorists will still hold our hand.
And resurrecting the phrase "Let them eat cake" by
allowing the run away costs of:
$Health care
$College tuition
$Energy in all forms

No, as Prickks they have a lot to be proud of.

Spoken like the true liars that all republicans are. This guys party is already dead, he''s snorting something so powerful he can''t even keep up with current events. Wake up and sniff reality for what it is dude, the republican party is as dead as slavery and no amount of shenanigans or foul play will make it breathe again.

Look, Bush has managed to maintain a steady 30% approval rating for the last three years-- a disapproval rating matched only by Nixon just before his resignation.

The Commander in Chimp will be like an an anchor on a sinking ship for the GOP.

We are just so damned sick and tired of war, terror, and all those stupid pseudo-moral issues stuffed down our throats!

Recipe for the Republicans? If you want a winner, switch parties!

We can only hope that the NRO is, as usual, wrong, but I see an opportunity for the fascists to twist recent events, and blame the democrats for failing to stop them and their drive towards the demise of America as a nation,or even a concept.

I can see it now, "Don''t vote for Clinton, she supported Bush''s war", and "don''t support the Democrats, they refused to debate impeaching Cheney".

Sounds crazy, but don''t laugh yet, the rumblings are already beginning...

Jim, stop dreaming! We are just fed up. We just have become tired of so much corruption and so much non-achievement in the Republican field. You better get ready for the most shameful beating you Republicans will experience next November ''08. You do not even have a viable presidential hopeful that can claim honesty, save Mr. Thompson. McCain, Giuliani, Romney? Three incompetent. dishonest demagogues! You should devote some time to ideate a nice epitaph!

The Republican party suffers from terminal, criminal, incompetence and arrogance as illistrated by their blind support for Bu$h and his policies. If theirs any hope for them it''s to return to practicing it''s core principles rather than sloganeering.

The Great Emperor Bush II is pleased, as he usually is, with the article from the NRO telling the Fascist GOP to remain hopeful.

Of course, one wonders what drugs the people working for the NRO on on? Perhaps they have discovered Rush Limbaugh''s cache or are using his source! The article states that there is much for Republicans to be hopeful for and the GOP has a solid chance for a "recovery". One is reminded of the delusions the Nazis had in 1945 with the "thousand year Reich" collapsing all around them (like the Great Emperor Bush II''s foreign and domestic policies) and the insane hope they had that western allies would become allies of the Nazis to stop the Soviets.

Perhaps the people at the NRO expect neocon extraterristrials to land on the White House grounds and ally themselves with the Great Emperor, exterminate all "terrrrrorists", real and imaginary, exile all the evil liberal Democrats (except Joe Liebermann) to Pluto, and crown the Great Emperor Bush II as the Grand High Exalted Mystic Ruler of the Universe (like Ming the Merciless!)!

SIG HEIL, BUSH!!!

hehehe like the NRO has any credibility except bad. Like anyone sees them associated with anything other than unrelenting advocacy of a failed and damaging philosophy and valueless agenda.

These guys are losers and have backed the losing idea consistently.

This kind of partisan spin reminds me of the Gary Larson "far side" cartoon about what dogs hear: the voters are going to listen to all this type of NRO hooey from Republican spinmeisters but they will hear "blahblahblahBUSHblahblahblahIRAQblahblahblahCHENEYblahblahblahIRAN..." How many states do you think that will carry?

Just like election night 2006, Faux News was spinning the numbers saying things like'' The losses are no that significant" etc. Attempting to minimize the true reality.

So goes the NRO. After getting trounced again, they will still be in denial after the election 2008!

LOL

You idiots just don''t get it. The American people are going to reject republicans as the party of failure. There has not been a single success the Bush admin can point to.

And more stupidly than ever, all the rep candidates except Ron Paul are lining up under the same failed banner.

The American people are not going to vote for Hillary or whoever gets the nomination, you dumbsh*ts, they are going to vote AGAINST ANYTHING REPUBLICAN or they will not vote at all.

Not a single rep candidate has anything new to offer and after 8 years of escalating debt, thousands US dead soldiers and nothing but more of the same in the future, YOU ARE FINISHED!!

The neo con movememt will merit a chapter in the history books under how to take a positive country and trash it in 8 years.

The American peopole are more afraid of more of the same leadership than they are of Hillary or Obama or John
