- you think the invasion was not a blatant violation of international law, then you obviously have never read the UN Charter, of which we are a signatory nation and charter member, which prohibits war except unless attacked or in support of another country which has been attacked.

As far as I know Iraq was in violation of numerous parts of the truce that ended the gulf war and based on that alone we could have gone to war. they refused to provide the report on the disposition of substantial numbers of wmd''s and based on this we had an obligation to go to war to remove the danger he presented
How do you feel about Israel''s preemptive strike on the nuclear bomb making facilities that saddam had. I don''t think they got permission first. Or how about our attempt to take out bin laden by clinton Was this illegal? Maybe the attempt to assasinate moamar Khadaffi by Reagan in 1983 was also illegal? - Reply to this comment
- The Real Reason We''re In Iraq:
An influential group of conservatives convinced President George W. Bush that it was in America''s best interests to conquer Iraq as a first step toward dominating the oil-producing nations in the Middle East. There was no "exit plan" because we never intended to exit. The plan was, and is, to build military bases in Iraq and stay there forever. Our leaders see Iraq as a place to make money. So Bush & Co. have set up their friends to cash in on the rebuilding of Iraq. - Reply to this comment

- I am seeing ORANGE over the disregard Bu$hCo and CONgress have displayed over the will of the voters. There WILL be a bloodbath in CONgress in 2008, no matter WHAT Diebold does for their favorite RepugliCONs...
There is an internet call for a General Strike on 9/11. Please do what you can on that date. For more info: http://www.strike911.org/ - Reply to this comment
- I''ll be in Washington to protest and I will bring a busload of people with me. We''ve got to do more than just talk. We owe it to the troops. By the way, Bush in Bagdad was an absolute joke. He STILL thinks he''s smarter than all of us. It''s obscene that he stood there before the troops and placated them by "saying perhaps, if things go well, maybe, if you are good boys and girls.., well then we MIGHT be able to reduce the troops." We all know, he has no intention of ending HIS war. After all, what would "the decider, war president" do with his WAR czar?

So, are you going to try to overthrow the government or what?
PRESIDENT Bush won my vote on both his terms. If he could run a 3rd, he''d get it again. Its apparent that many in this nation are blind to the facts and have been bought over by the liberal hollywood crowd. You buy into the agenda these PLAY ACTORS spout. These people who are so incapable of actually earning a living and contributing to this country that they have to pretend to be something they''re not. I''m laughing at those who buy it, but I''ve got an unsettling feeling in my stomach knowing it can affect the future of this country. My country. The one I gave up 20 years in service to.
Bush''s failure to progress is due to the opposition of the liberals who only oppose him because he is a Republican. How they can justify their opposition to strong morals is beyond me. Their black hearted attacks are constant with a white hat so as to make it appear they are in the right. When in fact, beneath that white hat is a black heart. - Reply to this comment
