To the Bush-bashers and anti-troop crowd:

You are losing your war against America.

Even your liberal Democrat leaders are changing their positions on the war.

Hillary Clinton says that the surge tactics are "working"; it%u2019s just a matter of days before more Democrats subtly, yet rapidly, change their position on progress of the surge.

Democrats already know that the Petraeus Report in September will without a doubt show all the real accomplishments that the liberal media has been hiding from the public. And, unlike the liberal press who simply spin news, or lie by omission of fact, Petraeus will have solid, unambiguous proof of the real progress on the ground, and of how the surge has made reconciliation in Iraq possible.

What I expect will happen after the report will be a groundswell of anger of Americans - Democrats, Republicans and Independents - against the liberal media and the anti-troop liberal activists for hiding and distorting the truth.

And your whining and seething will stop none of it - you%u2019ll just be a casualty of the crossfire, and the surge will simply continue until complete success in Iraq is achieved.

Nobody, especially me, is expecting you to change your position on the war; however, don''t think about blaming anyone but yourselves when you suddenly and permanently become the pariahs of society...it%u2019s a label you will have earned many time over, and will stick with you for a lifetime, and will be the embarrassment of your children.

More Bushit from the mouth of Sauron.

It just pours out of them like $hit out of an a$$hole. And the usual neocon toadies are always there to lap it up.

"Military historians seem to be converging on a consensus that by the end of 1972, the balance of forces in Vietnam had improved considerably, increasing the prospects for South Vietnam''s survival."

Says who--some unnamed "historians". By 1972 the American public was so sick of the slaughter that further drafting and murdering of young American men would no longer be tolerated. Some of the peace demonstrators would have started shooting back at the pigs. Enough anti-war people had been beaten and killed to realize that non-violence only works when backed with a credible threat of violence. The forces of Ho chi minh, a national liberation force, was there to stay; the catholic-backed south Vietnam puppets were on their last legs.

The usual revisionist *** is now being trotted out to support another war by fascists based on a lie and perpetuated for the benefit of the billionaires.

To the same end as Vietnam.

What country are you from, really? Israel? The Vietnamese are very offended by Bush''s analogy. And what is the purpose of the USA still being in Iraq? To steal their oil, nothing more! You''re in the right crowd. All GOPigs are thieves.

NRO''s Rodman states: "by the end of 1972, the balance of forces in Vietnam had improved considerably," Bush and Co weren''t there, I suspect nor was Peter Rodman. I was there as a civilian teaching the S. Vietnamese AF personnel. The corruption in their armed forces were so bad that lower ranking enlisted men moonlighted to survive and to feed their family. Otherwise they would starve, they said. The lower ranks were robbed blind by their officers. It was a rare day when all of my 12 students showed up at the same time; they took turns taking days off to work outside. Many of their wives worked in the bars as prostitutes for the US GIs as well. The S. Vietnamese Armed forces looked impressive on paper but it was a genuine grade AA hollow tiger.

This article claims that the U.S. will lose respect, thus influence, with the rest of the world if we loose this war. I say we have already lost most of our respect and will only start gaining it back when we lose Bush.

I love how the neo-cons up here are reduced to attacking Democrats.

God knows they wouldn''t dare turn their disdain and criticism at themselves; they might actually feel emotions other than anger. Maybe they would be humbled, and embarrassed for supporting policies and leaders who will are the most cursory in US history.

Same Bush trick different boogey, killing fields, it is a political statement written by the former RNC chair, it is not a military assessment but a RNC political campaign approach. Sound bites and slogans for the Repug Candidates to support a failed war and a failed strategy on humanitarian grounds, without attacking the incompetent Commander in Chief, blood in the streets etc, we all have heard it we have all seen it many, many times.

This is blackmail an amoral threat to Congress and the American People that if we tell Bush NO, he will unleash the killing fields through a passive destructive not my fault self fulfilling predetermination of destruction..

We just can not trust this President to extract us from his mess responsibly and safely because surely through either incompetence feigned incompetence or intent people would be slaughtered.

The classic GOP rope a dope using an opponents strength as a political weapon against them, and we value the lives of our solders and the innocents in Iraq that is our strength.

Now where they get the soldiers to stay who knows many will die needlessly to be sure. We may need to wait for the next President.

Call your representative do not allow these powerful lobby to puppet our country for their special intrest, they are not the same our Countrys intrest in the ME is oil.

"Will tomorrow''s narrative be that the strategic situation in Iraq was starting to improve in 2007 but the Congress tied the president''s hands anyway?"

Typical garbage from the NRO. I guess the NRO and Peter W. Rodman think we can win our invasion of Iraq by waiting until the population is killed off. I love how they used the word WAS, as if the situation in Iraq has improved by some profound metric. Republicans like to "believe" what reality is.

No more people in Iraq, no more war, we win.

Leave it to the NRO to blame the Democrats for the fall of South Vietnam! It doesn''t matter that Kissinger threw away all his bargaining chips because Nixon wanted out of Vietnam NOW! It doesn''t matter that we never lived up to the agreement with North Vietnam to rebuild their country, so they kept our MIA''s until they dropped. And it doesn''t matter that our current "commander-in-chief" and his entire neocon administration took the "easy way" out of ever serving in the military, especially Vietnam!

If it were up to the NRO, they would claim the devil made us do it!

LONG LIVE THE VALIANT GOP!!!

SIG HEIL, BUSH!!!
