Now if the Republicon's that still support the war in Iraq would send some of their kin to fight, maybe they would have a difference in opinion.

Their lack of volunteering for the military is emboldening the enemy.

Are you some kind of an idiot? Have you ever served? I have. I can tell you right now, there's a LOT more Republicans serving under this country's flag than Democrats. Something Republicans have that Dems don't seem to have these days is a sense of Loyalty to this country, the president and all it represents. The Dems are just out for self appeasement. W.J. Clinton for example.

Sshhhh. Incidentally, Hillary CLINTON is married to one and the same...

r9119111 - your implied apology is accepted. I'm past the age where I'm allowed to serve anymore. And, your EXCUSE is?

Jimmy-boy, you are so right. That was a bad assumption. On the other hand - not everyone that voted for Pelouse was a Democrat either, so you are somewhat wrong at the same time in your statement, "You are the stupid one, for assuming I am of the Democratic party." It's obvious you hate Bush. Not sure why. What is your personal reason (ie please don't parrot talk) speak your mind, son.

This is America and AMERICANs made the decision to enter Iraq. Not Republicans, not Democrats, not Bubba Jones from Big City USA; AMERICANS.

United we stand, divided we fall.

Warfare produces casualties. Admit it and press on. What, did you all think we'd just walk in there, find some dirty bombs, apprehend Hussein, and walk out?

Terrapin78 - thank-you for this so typical leftie logic. Anyone with a brain can see this kind of logic came straight from the 3rd grade. You did make it past the third grade, right?

So I volunteered to be in the US Army during the Vietnam era, did you ? And, while I didn't go to Vietnam, I was certainly ready, willing, able, and volunteered.

Pull your head out and breath, son. You've insulted many brave souls, some that didn't come back.

Our President needs volunteers to support his agenda. Since you are of like mind, how about expressing your loyalty by signing up for frontline duty. Wouldn't you conside that the least you can do to consumate your patriotism? Please forgive me if you have already done so. In either case. I'll pray for your safe return.

"The only Bush supporters left are a relatively small group of hard-right Repubs. This is clearly demonstrated by his 30% approval rating." jimfinster

So jimmy, my-boy, Pelouse's rating is even lower than the Pres. The great Democratic hope's approval rating faded to the teens in only 6 months. Does it mean they haven't done anything worth while - ok, so in her case that's true. But certainly you can see that if one in your own party can be shunned so quickly by her own, then Bush MUST be doing a fantastic job if he can hold onto what he has after 6.5 years given the circumstances he's had to face (ie stupid people like you that voted for her.)

I have friends that came back from Ramadi, and they'll tell you that there is NO progress being made there, and in fact since January, (the surge), it's turned much worse.

The bad always cancels out the good, huh. You don't know anything about my brother-in-law so don't try to even speculate why he wants to go back. You could never understand because there isn't an ounce of honor in your pitiful body. Sitting there in your mamma's basement reading all of the conspiracy theories and drinking the koolaid doesn't make you an authority on anything.

It's amazing to me that Bush lovers are so fearful of an impending attack, even with their fearless leader in charge. Who was in charge last time we were attacked? Clinton, right?

"I guess this proves that the neocon Kool Aid is in the water supply." ObservantX

So, let's look at ObservantX's statement. First of all, it is very typical of a liberal idiot.

Idiot, you say!

Yup.

Because as we all know, we all need to drink water. And, if 'neocon Kool Aid' is in the water, we would all think alike, and hence there would be no liberals. As there are liberals, one must conclude that either some of us just don't get it, or ObservantX is wrong about the placement of the 'neocon Kool Aid', or even more likely, that 'neocon Kool Aid' doesn't exist.

Nah - you're right ObservantX, it exists, you just don't get it. That's why I'm smart, and you are an Idiot.

The Right to Privacy - Warrantless Searches - Warrantless Wiretapping - FBI Mueller has already confirmed violations.

Funny, you actually think they care about your lame phone conversations? Please. Your rights are secure you fool. So you're saying the FBI shouldn't be investigating suspicious phone calls related to terrorism? Okay, we should stay blind to what's going on and let another 9/11 happen. Idiot.

Bush supporters are rethuglicans first, and Americans later. They would support the smirking chimp no matter what. If bush burned down an orphanage on Christmas Eve, the rethugs would be all for it!("Those orphans have been sponging off us long enough!")

The truth is, bush came into office panning to attack Iraq and used 9-11 as an excuse to do it. Bushco invaded a Third World country that hadn't done anything to us, so they could steal its natural resources(oil).

Rethugs are either 1.)stupid or 2.)evil.There's no other excuse.

The only Bush supporters left are a relatively small group of hard-right Repubs. This is clearly demonstrated by his 30% approval rating.

What would it take for you die-hards to no longer support this President? Get him on videotape doing some crack cocaine? Having *** with Pastor Ted? What?

It would have been helpful if the Bush Administration had waged a smart and effective war on terrorism. Instead, they have acted like the gang of Chickenhawk idiots they are. Although Iraq never had anything to do with terrorism, now it has become a gigantic and costly distraction from the real war on terrorism -- which is centered in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia (and not Iraq). Bush has have done nothing to confront the Saudis about the thousands of Wahabi madrassas and other extremist Islamic activities they fund all over the Islamic world. Bush has done nothing to find and kill Bin Laden, and or to stamp out Taleban havens in Waziristan. Bush has not even done anything to SECURE OUR OWN BORDERS. He will easily go down in history as the worst President this country ever had. We may never recover from the damage Bush has so blithely and ignorantly inflicted upon our great country.

Whenever you are in a debate with a neocon and make a good point they can't answer, they tell you something Clinton did. It's amazing they're going to try to make that work for 8 years. At this point, they might as well blame John Adams for our problems.

Bush got hundreds of hours of training to fly a war plane during the war in Veitnam, then hid out instead of going to fly it. He wouldn't have even had to crawl around in the mud and fight, he could have just dropped bombs from the air, but he was too cowardly to do that, and he wasted training that could have been given to someone willing to use it.

Cheney dodged the draft by using his family's money and influence. He could have gone and fought just to see what it's like.

Both these guys now send men and women to war without regard to their safety. They send our troops to travel the streets of a country where it is impossible to tell who is the enemy, and too many are maimed or killed.

Now you neocons can reply and tell us all that Clinton dodged the draft too. Clinton didn't invade Iraq. These hypocrites did.

"On March 9, 2007, a Justice Department audit found that the FBI had "improperly and, in some cases, illegally used the USA Patriot Act to secretly obtain personal information" about United States citizens.

On June 15, 2007, following an internal audit finding that FBI agents abused a Patriot Act power more than 1000 times, U.S. District Judge John D. Bates ordered the agency to begin turning over thousands of pages of documents related to the agency's national security letters program." - IOWEIGN

IOWEIGN - what part of "improperly and, in some cases, illegally used the USA Patriot Act " and "abused a Patriot Act power" don't you understand. NEITHER of these statements say the Patriot act is bad - they BOTH say they were abused.

Grow a brain. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.
