National Review Online: Accusations That Gonzales Lied To Congress Are Without Merit

National Review is wonderfully disingenious here. The issue now is what Gonzales said this week; that the night raid was about another program - not the TSA - which is an outright lie. And once again to all neocons - it is not the issue of spying per se - but that an administration refused to follow the law set up for spying and the law that permits such spying. A president CANNOT IGNORE THE LAW. How many times must we state this? Imagine their outrage when, because of this White House behavior, President Hillary acts in the same way.

The country is at war because bush/cheney want us to be at war. They would love nothing better than to start another one with Iran. Then declare marshall law and take away all our remaining freedoms and completely shred the constitution.

The Congress should take whatever force is needed, go to the white house, and put these monsters in jail where they belong.

I could not figure out why CBSNews would put such incredibly naive essays that inspire waves of illegal government behavior on their site.

Then realized it is good to see what the 30% of the American public are like who still believe this Administration is doing a good job.

I am still stunned though that this Gonzales is the AG, much less that a dumnsickle like Bush was selected/elected as president.

Our country invaded another country on fully false pretences and no one has been held accountable. $%^&*!!!!

It is DISGUSTING the depths of blindness these neocon rags sink to in the pursuit of the same stupid agenda that got the administration in the messes it currently is in!!!

How much more proof does one need to know Gonzo is a lying sack of ***??? There are 3 seperate sources that all say Gonzo is full of it, but still National Review believes him????

They are PATHETIC!!!!!

This Adminstration has more crooks and liars on the payroll than the Mafia did in it's heyday. It's time for a MAJOR house cleaning. Shout out to "Scooter"!

Not quite as political as when Ken Starr spent $30 million to try and get Clinton.

And all he could find is a lie about a BJ (oral pleasure, in case BJ is censored).

NRO has lost all credibility with these Neo-con puff pieces they've been pumping out. It's sad to see how deluded they've become.

NRO never had any credibility.

Yeah, NRO. EVERYONE ELSE is lying, only Gonzales is telling the truth. How many peolple and documents have contradicted Gonzales already? This denial by the neocons is getting disgusting already to the point of being delusional.

gonzo looked like a clumsy, nervous grade schooler in front of congress. Even Dee Snider of Twisted Sister was able to testify with 10 times the dignity of gonzo...

'It is a convoluted story;' How convenient, isn't it?

'and much of it is beside the point.' That's debatable.

'The country is at war.' An illegal one at that - If you are referring to the Iraq mess.
