- I belive that katg21 must be getting all of his/her/it's info from Limpbow or Hammity. katg21 is the poster child for the failure of our school system. It's lack of historical accuracy is second to none. Why not wikipedia or google everything prior to your posting it so you can check for fact or fiction before embarrassing yourself.
Next, comments about Ted K.;
Most recently though, he's trying to ram legislation through on immigration before we the people are even able to read it. Elitist power hungry pig. ]
Ya know by paying attention to the news, the repubs were in on this immigration bill. Chertoff, McCain, Specter, Boosh himself all said it was the right thing to do. So your hero boosh is all over this like like stink on **** and wants the credit for it. Does that mean he bumps Ted K. for being an elitist pig? - Reply to this comment

i think it was more like he was spending much of his time defending against the onslaught from the right in an attempt to destroy him ... beginning from the moment he won the dem nomination ... continuting to this very minute ... as is evidenced by your anti-clinton ranting.
[He got us into a fight with Somalia and then ran from it ... ]
the presence of us forces in somalia began during the bush senior admin.
[Failed to respond adequately to the USScole , first trade center bombing and embassy bombings which only emboldened our enemy ...]
10 people were convicted for the wtc '93 bombing w/ each receiving 240 years ... each one got 240 years ... for a total of 2400 years in prison.
[Told the american public that Saddam was a threat and then retracted that to push the democratic agenda.]

Between 1994 and 2000 the U.S. doubled its annual expenditures on terrorism, bringing the total to more than $10 billion, with $11.3 billion proposed for 2001. 1 Even more telling was the dramatic increase in the monies allocated domestic preparedness: from virtually nothing earmarked specifically for the issue in 1995, in 1997 the total grew to $130 million, by 2000 topping $1.5 billion - Reply to this comment

I'd like to suggest that you take an introductory course in logic. Your inability to see and draw parallels is amazing. Civil war in Lebanon. How is that different from Civil War in Iraq. Terrorists in Iraq. Al Quieda DID NOT EXIST in Iraq prior to our Moron-in-chief's attacking that country and making our soldiers targets. Hussein hated Al Quieda and they hated him. There were no ties between the two. Get over it. We created our own pandora's box by attacking a country that DID NOT ATTACK US!! - Reply to this comment
- By and large some of the American public still fails to see that the invasion of Iraq (not war, by the way, because Iraq did not declare war on the US)has nothing to do with terrorism. It was the administration's decision for a regime change, among other things, and WMD was concocted up and served to a terror filled public because of 9/11. The media went for it hook line and sinker and till this day despite of all the revelations to the contrary, a good percentage still believe that Saddam was involved. Effectively, there is no such thing as a "war on terror." Terrorism is a state of mind, it not your regular army, it is not a "product" that can be identified. Terrorism is an intangible. Keep on bombing and killing civilians, and by God you have more terrorists than this generation could handle. Then you have this bloody nonsensical remark that "if we do not fight them there we would have to fight them here in America" or something to this effect. 6 years of Bush's nonsense and some of you out there are still believers in his crab. It is time to wake and see things as they are not what Bush and the media tell you. You have brains, don't you?

- As I recall, Reagan pulled out of Lebanon to avoid being in the middle of a civil war. Lebanon didn't attack our barracks, terrorists (I think hezbolah) did. True, "Ray-guns" probably should have done something back then but Clinton should have too and didn't. We finally have a president who's taking it to the terrorists and you have a problem with it?

Isn't Iraq in a civil war? I never said Lebanon attacked the Marines. Of course it was terrorists. The problem with Shrub is, he's attacking a country that DID NOT ATTACK US!! I want to see OBL's head on a pike on Pennsylvania ave. not anything from a country that DID NOT ATTACK US. Got that? - Reply to this comment
- So your agreeing that ronnie ray-guns didn't show any spine after the Marine barracks were blown up in Lebanon? I agree!!

- Gosh, should I even talk about Murtha...no he's a pig! Ted Kennedy held up pictures of Abu Grhaib in front of any available TV camera which played on AlJazeera. Yet another countryman who would side with our enemy for political gain. Most recently though, he's trying to ram legislation through on immigration before we the people are even able to read it. Oh, I get to trash talk too...goody.
I've already spoke about Carter, let me see, who's next...
Clinton, was busy getting a bjob while the terrorists were at war with us. Lies under oath and to our faces (with such ease) about it and gets impeached. Then tells his buddy Sandy Berger to steal classified documents and dispose of them...hmmm nothing suspicious there? He got us into a fight with Somalia and then ran from it. Failed to respond adequately to the USScole , first trade center bombing and embassy bombings which only emboldened our enemy. Told the american public that Saddam was a threat and then retracted that to push the democratic agenda.
John Kerry, dishonesty is his most prominate attribute. Talk about liars. He lied about American soldiers in Vietnam. His service, like his life is more fiction than fact. He's accused our soldiers of terrorizing women and children in Iraq - gee thanks! He would like to run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as he did in vietnam.

- repost to katg21: I'm still waiting for your explanation of how tuff ray-guns was!
but he (Carter) didn't show any spine when faced with it either; that's why he can be not be considered a good leader

- All I offered was an alternate view to Jimmy's being called irrelevant, because he isn't. He called it like he saw it, and this blog reflects the agreement of others with his words. I agree with him.
I would surmise from your postings that you neither agree, nor condone those who do?

I will pit the truth and honesty of the Carter administration against lying SOB's in Dumbya's administration anytime.
You can start with Cheney trying to accuse Saddam with colusion with Mohamed Atta in Prague in Auigust 2002. Then Bush going before the the UN on Sept. 12, 2002 with a long storyline of accusations against Iraq, but not one ounce of PROOF. Then Powell going before the UN on March 13, 2003 with a dog-and-pony slide show meant to completely deceive the American people.
I can go on and on from there ie. "we will have flowers thrown at our feet by the people of Bahgdad", "Iraq's oil will pay for the war", and of course "Mission Accomplised" - Reply to this comment

You can make such long leaps in judgement, can't you, and quite a bit of spitting insults from the safety of your keyboard. Pull your skirt down, hon. Your ignorance of debate is visible all over this blog.
Show me where I said JC was the best of anything? You can't, but I will give you this tid bit. I would pick him over Bush with glee, I said glee. He did some good things under bad circumstances, while Bush continually does bad things under good circumstances. The character of these two men are visible in their actions and worlds apart.
