I often ponder why some politicians are so passionate about giving rewards to illegal aliens. They are not passionate about our huge national debt, or the rise of China as a military threat, or the offshoring of American jobs, or the degradation of basic freedoms in our country, or the rise of an unsustainable elite investor class that unbalances our markets and causes dangerous capital bubbles. They are not passionate about any of these things, but very personal and involved in the reward for illegals. And not all politiicans feel that way, nor does it reflect traditional left and right politics.

I ponder it, and I ponder human nature, and I remember that all politics is local, and especially passions are local. We can only hate or love people we know well. Which is why most Senators don't hate or love the American middle class, because they don't see us.

The conclusion that makes sense is that certain of these politicians, such as John McCain and Ted Kennedy, have very close personal servants, perhaps even Mexican lovers, who are illegals. This kitchen lobby has moved their heart, they have made promises to these illegals. Thus corruption strikes our great nation in its very bosom.
