- I am so sick and tired of hearing the anti-abortionists say that women use abortion as birth control! Do you even know anyone who had an abortion? I do, and not one ever thought that abortion was like birth control. They did it because they had made a mistake, and instead of *** up their entire lives because of that one mistake, they rectified it and moved on.
But of course, you don't want them to move on, right? You hate them because they are "sinners" and they deserve all the misery they get. That's what your christian "love" and "compassion" really boils down to.

I happen to know two people who have had abortions and both regret it very much. I also know someone who adopted a baby boy from a teenager who was raped. It's not my place to judge but in the instances I've mentioned, I can only respect one of the girls. Why not "rectify the mistake" by giving the "mistake" to a family who will love it? No, it's much easier to just suck it out of your body and kill it huh? Keep telling yourself it's not a human life if it will make you sleep better at night. - Reply to this comment

- Abortion is a constitutional right. This is a personal decision by a woman or a man and wife, whatever the circustances. This should not be an issue in the political arena.

- given the choice, most would take life over death, and the same holds true for the unborn as moden technolegy has proven. Film footage of writhing, gasping in obvious agony, babies in the pocess of being KILLED leaves me with utter contempt and disgust for thoes who would either have or perform abortions. - The Drs need to step upto the plate as well. There are women who ask their Dr to tie/burn their tubes as they know feel it best not bear children for health reasons. The Dr. won't. They are so worried about being sued or their church atanding on the issue. If thats the case,they pander to the church. I am not preaching here just telling it like is. A Dr will use the line*you will change your mind later down the road* or some line. Don't buy it. If Drs won't listen to women who has done their home work or what ever on the issue to not have children,then that Dr must do the burning of the tubes. So that Dr failed in the duties of care and well being of the woman. I am not for abortion being used as birth control. Women are taught no birth control by the church but there are women who need it.It is not humane to force her into slaverly of being in poor health to carry a unborn even when the meds will cause health problems . So Jane Doe does the only humane thing right away. I am sorry if this means some are never born. It not something done lightly. It is is a personal and it hurts and please stop and think of those who hurt and being unselfish to see beyond it but due the holier than thou yelling murder when they are nobody but pandering to the church who know nothing of the woman's case. All they see is unborn who will become children of church pandering,a prawn of the parents.I was dump at 5.I am 52.
