So let me get this straight... you're saying that the irresponsible person who chose not to use protection and got pregnant is no different than a woman who was raped or molested? A woman who chooses to terminate a pregnancy because she's not ready to have a child is the same as a pregnant woman who wants a child but carrying it to term will kill her? There's a fine line there that I think anyone with morals can see, you obviously don't. One is murder, the other is a very difficult, heartbreaking choice.

Isn't that exactly what you are doing? Deciding that the fetus is a person? At least I don't want to make laws to force my beliefs down everybody's throat. I still want to leave space for people who don't agree with me to do what they want. You on the other hand just can't bare the thought of others not following your beliefs.

Am I the only one that notices hate and contempt for women in the postings of guysdigdirt and katg21?
Women don't make love, they "spread their legs". They don't have relationships, they "sleep around town", or "sleep with the football team". With this kind of attitude towards women, are we really surprised that these people don't give a sh*t about our right to choice? Can we have them go back to their caves, and leave decisions to civilized people?

Yes, most of the ones who have abortions are just as you describe.

I happen to be a women who has made responsible choices and when the time was right my husband and I planned our pregnancies. There is NO reason why anyone else couldn't choose to do the same. Stop making excuses for stupid people already! And for *od sakes stop comparing apples to oranges, irresponsible *** and women in difficult situations such as rape/incest are two different things.

Uh, right, you care? You have no idea in what situations some people are, or have been. It's easy to sit in your nice house, with your nice bank account, not a care in the world, and tell people struggling in situations harder than you can ever imagine, what to do. Geez, I am for protecting life; by reading what you've concluded about me anyone would think I'm evil. Maybe you're right about one thing, I don't give a *** about women who have unprotected *** and abort at will, they're cowards. As for women in rough situations...of course I care! I completely understand their plight. However, a majority of women who have abortions are doing it because they were careless; is that really who you are fighting so hard for here? You know little of what you talk about. If you want something done by a doctor, you can get it done. Too often though it is not the situation you speak of where the health of the mother is in question. Too often it is because a woman has neglected her responsibilties and now wants to pay for it in a very cruel manner costing the life of another human being.

It's called partial birth because that is exactly what it is. A viable human, not a bunch of cells, with a brain, is murdered in the birth canal. Now, I'm pro choice, get that straight. This is not abortion, this is murder.
