I found the following article to be very interesting. It is a detailed timeline of events in the air on 9/11 derived from official NORAD recordings as published in Vanity Fair. It details the confusion, frustration, misinformation, conflicting details, and possible deceptions as they occurred in 'real time' on 9/11. It also reveals in detail the heroic and heart-wrenching efforts of ordinary Americans as they came to realize the scope and nature of the catastrophic events as they unfolded and tried to respond to them. It is a long and, at times, difficult read but there is a wealth of information that for whatever reason is not widely known to the general public. Please take a look and draw your own conclusions:

I would like to respond to the following post:

I'm sure there's money to made by this "movement". There will be a few millionaires created as a result of this foolishness.

I don't know why you think this. People that have the fortitude to question the 'official' scenario often loose their jobs, their friends, have family issues, are publicly ridiculed, etc. Just look at some of the remarks made in this forum. Not everyone's motives revolve around money, as hard as that may be to believe in this day and age.

Ah my friend, you are almost there. Almost.

You admit that the government is guilty of deception and prevarication.
That the 9/11 Inquiry was a whitewash.
That the mainstream media has abdicated its critical role in reporting of this event.

And yet you conclude, perversely, that it is wrong-headed to question the official narrative.

I suggest we have a civic and moral duty to question it.

Consider what has been done in response to 9/11, and in our name:

Two brutal invasions, a new doctrine of pre-emptive war, a new category of POW 'enemy combatant' (i.e man without legal rights), Guantanamo, torture flights, the weaponisation of space, and open lobbying for a war (possibly nuclear) against Iran.

Surely it is the responsibility of us all to look closely at the official story. And when we do, we find that almost everything we know about it was served up to us on the first day or day after, and has never been corroborated with hard evidence. Trust us, they said. And we did. And you yourself say they can not be trusted.

It isn't obsession with minutiae, as you suggest, to argue that the official explanation defies the laws of physics.

Or to point out that the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, allegedly launched in response to 9/11, were planned long before 9/11

But all is not lost. As I said, you are almost there.

And to all those who say they can%u2019t believe their government would attempt such a thing, Google: Operation Northwoods.

I am part of the truth movement, and I only seek answers to simple questions.

Why can't the American people view ALL of the the surveillance tapes of the 757 hitting the Pentagon? The network news showed the WTC being hit hundreds of times, but never got one tape showing the Pentagon being hit. The FBI will not honor requests for the tapes under the FIA (freedom of information act), they just say no %u2013 I ASKED.

I think a common misperception about the Truth Movement is that it is trying to force its beliefs on 'rational' people. This is untrue. Look at how many people here are only asking that skeptics look at the readily available information for themselves and ask themselves "Does this make sense?"

Don't want to look at 'far left wing liberal tinfoil hat wearing nut job' websites? Great! Read the FEMA WTC Building Performance Study. It presents a theory as to why WTC7 collapsed and then says that the theory is unlikely and recommends further study. FEMA was denied sufficient funding, access to blueprints, and was only allowed to visit Ground Zero under federal escort with a predetermined itinerary that specifically avoided ares that FEMA felt were crucial to the investigation.

The government commissioned NIST to produce an in-depth study. Yet NIST did not consider the mechanisms of collapse beyond the exact instant they began. Yet this is where all the unanswered questions lie. Free fall collapse speed. Concrete and STEEL turned to dust or vaporised. Credible witnesses reported explosions and horizontally ejected debris preceding and far below the collapsing floors. To collapse as they did the entire structures of the buildings would have to fail simultaneously. How were the steel cores completely disintegrated when they were far stronger than any other part of the structure?

I am skeptical. However, If heat melted the steel, then why is there video footage of a woman standing in the hole waving for help, the same hole the plane made less than 30 minutes prior? If she is standing in 800 to 2000 degree heat then she is doing remarkably well. If heat melted the steel, then why on the fire department voice recordings was the fireman, who was on 78 with the fire, calling for only two hoses for two small pockets of fire? Would an experienced firefighter misjudge the fact that steel was melting all around him? And if the temps were that hot, why does the building appear to suffer a violent reaction instead of the slow bending one would expect? So, just call me one who believes that a reopening of the investigation is in order. A few more questions come to mind: why did Cheney order the DOD and FAA into a simulated civilian aircraft hi-jacking to be operated on 9/11? This simulation superimposed 20+ simulated hi-jacked planes on the screens of the FAA, and at exactly the same time that 4 of those blips were real? And why does the cover of the pre-911 FEMA terrorist defense plan have a picture of the Trade Center with a Bullseye on the tower when Secretary Rice tells us that they had no idea this was a possibility? So, please Congress, put these stories and myths to bed by opening a new investigation. Answer these questions. And, all members of both the Senate and the House can expect a free copy of Loose Change to be sent to them after January.

People NEVER address the very idea that our Government does have people in it that use Counter Gang Tactics, it is an old British Technique called "Low Intensity Operations"
Example. CIA's Operation Gladio. These Nato Armies were "left behind" Western Europe after WW 2. As a built in Insurgency against an anticipated Communist Invasion. These groups generated Terrorism events and blamed the "Red Brigades" as an attempt to isolate and demonize communists in Europe. Exposed recently by the Italians, this FACT is ignored by US Media.
American Example OPERATIONS NORTHWOODS. It documented a Military Operation that would create public support for an invasion of Cuba by Hi-Jacking Planes, Blowing Up Buses, basically the willingness to KILL AMERICANS.
You see the Problem with the masses is that people depend on our society for their own safety the very well being of their children, this is why people will keep silent and leave it up to college kids and loners to protect against the tyranny of government. It is all too simple and all too SAD.
Facts:
1. Heat within the Towers was NEVER Hot enough to even weaken the Steel Uniformally, do you KNOW anything Heat Transfer Steel is a VERY good conductor of Heat, there are pictures on the WEB that SHOW people standing in the very holes the airplanes made, were these people standing in 800 degree tempertaures. 2 Can you explain the Molten Metal documented in The FEMA report Appendix C.
Demand A New Investigation!

No, effallah. We don't run & hide. That's just what they'd want us to do- live in fear, go away, don't rock the boat, be sheep-like.

Instead, as americans we have the right AND the duty to question the practises of the government, AND we have the right to change them if need be. That's why we don't hold a dictatorship here- so that one person can't have complete control with out question & scrutiny by the citizens.

If a husband beats his wife why should she have to leave? He's the one who committed the crime so he needs to be removed from office, eh I mean the home. So, same here with bushy & his back room posse.

You are absolutely right on. Those anti-Americans who don't care enough to find out the truth, by extension don't care about what America is, has been, or will become. They are the ones who will allow just about any horror to be perpetrated in our names, just because the government claims "it's all OK" and because they believe that those who tell shocking truths are just playing partisan politics. Without constant vigilance, all governments bend to corruption.
Wake up, effallah - your country needs you.

I can relate to the people that poke fun at the skeptics and could never imagine the government doing something as unimaginable as this... because I was one of them until I took the time to inform myself from different sources.

Here are the videos that sealed the deal for me and convinced me that we are not being told the whole truth...

Here is Larry Silverstein, the owner of WTC7 (and I believe also WTC1 and WTC2) saying he told the fire department to "pull it":

Here is a sensible, and impartial analysis by MIT engineer, Jeff King:

what you suggest would be the worst thing a person could do. that's the equivalent of 'our country....love it or leave it'. when it should be 'our country love it'
and seek the truth----
prosecute the wrongdoers----
make right the wrongs----
and show the world that our country believes in truth and justice (and what's that line from superman?....truth, justice, and the american way?).

if we fail (as thomas jefferson said) to do our duty as american citizens and to be informed----then we fail in being americans. for in the public's being informed we find the roots of our freedom.

if we fail to question our leaders and seek the truth....when there are legitimate questions (---and there are)----then we fail to be true americans. it is then that we fail to love our country. that we fail to be true americans!

examine things for the truth and question everything. one person once said...."believe nothing that you hear and only half of what you see".

those who do not are the true un-americans!

All things can be simplified:

If you actually believe that the government did it then move to Canada. If you really did believe that our government did something that horrific you would do whatever it took to move out of this country.

CBScrash07:
Just TRY to weaken 1000+ vertical feet of networked steel to the point where the entire structure collapses from its own weight at free-fall speed. I guarantee that no amount of jet fuel (let alone your barrel and wood fire) will do that, even if it wasn't in an oxygen-starved state 800 feet up off the ground. (Heat rises, you will notice, if you bother to read your physics textbook. Time to do better homework.)

Ok, I hate the Bush regime more than anything I have ever experienced in my life, but this is one thing I can't buy. Did the Bushies know something was going to happen? Perhaps. Did they 'let' it happen? Doubtful. Did Bush use the event to catapult him toward his goal of reinflaming the Iraq conflict and give him the 'excuse' he so desperately wanted to go and attack a sovereign country? This I absolutely believe to be true. How many times did the president infer a connection between Saddam Hussein and the 9/11 terrorists? And Cheney went even a step further and practically said they were in bed together. There are a lot of things I wouldn't put past this maniac in the White House, but this is one conspiracy I can't get behind.
