youropinion2012.com If we do not use our right of free expression, the liberals will take over this new outlet and flood it with their big government nonsense. No doubt the radicals will claim victory as a neutral forum becomes another soap box for the left. Let's do this before it's too late. Our common sense opinions are more important now than ever before. http://youropinion2012.com
Mitch Daniels was the genius Budget Director for George Bush at the beginning of his term and was around to set the groundwork for our huge structural budget deficits under Bush. He, along with Bush, was responsible for taking the surplus of the Clinton years and after giving away the farm to the ultra rich, turning it into the mess we have today.
Daniels was only successful in Indiana because he accepted federal stimulus dollars and spent virtually every dime of Indiana's rainy day fund. He sold Indiana's toll road to an Australian company that has raised tolls to staggering heights. His last great achievement was a scheme of privatization of Indiana's Department of Family and Social Services to a private group led by IBM that worked so well the State of Indiana and IBM are now in court seeking hundreds of millions of dollars from each other as the contract had to be canceled due to poor performance.
This clown has not seen a government service that he wouldn't gladly outsource with disastrous results for Indiana. Given the conservatives treasured goals of privatizing Social Security and Medicare would you want to put him in charge of the Federal government.
This is one Hoosier who says no thanks. It's time to Ditch Mitch!
When he signed the bill to defund Planned Parenthood, he effectively rubber stamped himself, as the same kind of bigoted buffoon, as the rest of the GOP, in being anti-gays and women. They are no better than the Taliban, the entire lot of them.
Trump looks better every day, as the only alternative to the GOP professional politicians, and Obama.

1. Defunding planned parenthood = anti-gay? DOH! 2. IF, the the Taliban supported abortion, THEN defunding PP would make them no better than republicans? lol 3. ""They are no better than the Taliban, the entire lot of them."" Wide brush please .... ANYBODY GOT A WIDE BRUSH?
I have read your post and reread your post and it has left me confused. I must tell you that you have written a very illogical and confusing piece of work. What did you mean?
I'm pretty sure the above post did not intend to imply that Planned Parenthood is a homosexual organization or it's mission is dedicated to a homosexual agenda. Rather tsigili intended to add defunding PP to the list of Daniels' pet peeves. He/she equated defunding PP with typical right wing anti homosexual policy. And where did tsigili write that the Taliban supported abortion? From what I can gather tsigili was comparing extreme right wingers (Representative from Georgia criminal investigations into miscarriages and their hatred towards PP)views to the fanatic religious views of the Taliban. The Taliban are vehemently anti woman and female health is a very low priority even determinedly ignored therefore the defunding of PP is exactly what the Taliban would have done. Yes, defunding PP is a huge blow, a slap in the face against poor women and their health where 97% of the services PP provides go towards women and young girls (and some men) for cancer screening, gynecological disorders, sexual transmitted diseases, reproductive health, menopause treatment, and even for basic yeast infections. Daniels has just ensured that his state will witness in years to come an increase in illegitimate births, ill health, rise in female cancers, etc. Please don't say that this is an over statement because you really need to ask yourself where the heck are these women and girls going to find doctors to support them, find preventative measures, treatment and cures? Where? The emergency rooms where the cost will be ten times more expensive for the tax payer?
Wants to "call a truce" on social issues....then promptly ends funding for Planned Parenthood. Lying? Perhaps. Pandering to his looney toon fringe? Most definitely.
Mithc is a good candidate however currently at 62 years old, I would consider whim a little old school. At least peopleare thinking something new and not the usual suspects who have been tried and lost, again and over again. Mitt, Palin, Huckaby, Newt, might as well throw in Ross Perrot.
I have surveyed every sitting Republican Senator and Governor for new prospects. I suggest (in alphabetical order): Michele Bachmann, Jim Demint, Jim Hoeven, Mark Kirk, Mike Lee (VP), Lisa Murkowski, Tim Pawlenty, and Rob Portman so far. There may be other candidates and I have not exactly finished. First, I qualified them by age. Ron Pau is 75 now, how he going to hold up in 8 years? We have all seen the pictures of presidents before and after pictures. The job takes a heavy toll. I've marked Mike Lee as VP because he is a little young and a little inexperienced for a Presidential run, but after 8 years as VP he would be a good follow through candidate. I then looked at their experience and any controversial issues I could easily find on the 'net. These guys look good. There could be more I have not exhausted my research. But start with these guys. If you don't think they can't generate the funding, let's just all settle on one and fund him.
And to all those negative commentors, I am writing this for Republicans and we see your negativism for what democrats represent-just tearing everything down with your negativity.
Good idea, Bachman or Demint would be perfect. They have no chance of moving to the middle for the general election and will win about 39% of the electorate as only Republicans will vote for them. Just genius!
I won't know if he is a viable candidate until I know:
- Position on trying abortion providers for murder
- Will he criminalize homosexuality
- Does he believe Darwin is a 4 letter word
- Does he support requiring evangelical prayer in public schools
Then I can decide if he is an acceptable candidate.
Not if he signs the bill to defund Planned Parenthood.
Signing that bill, instead of vetoing it, says he is absolutely part of the extremist religion movement in the GOP, which is clearly a huge danger to this country, and the most likely thing to cause the loss of the GOP in 2012, for the WH.
We do not need nor want religious extremism in this country.......from any religion. The US must NOT become another Iran!
How can he win? He has not joined the birther movement, he has declared a so-called truce on the social agenda of the GOP? No way he wins the GOP primaries with those credentials.
He's going to have to start sounding a lot more bat-**** crazy to convince the useful idiots that he is one of them. I'm thinking it's going to be trump or possibly bachmann, both fit the bill.
