I have flash-read all the comments.But I seem to be the only one genuinely sorry to see a couple who are obviously well suited filing for divorce. I support them and suggest some counselling because they have hurt each other badly enough for it to go this far . But it is difficult to hurt someone you DON'T love. They should try again and find a way through this awful pain that they are clearly suffering. I don't know what has happened but it can be fixed if they both can be persuaded . I have been married for 33 years and I know all about ups and downs but I would not swap my lovely wife for anyone or any thing else. Katy , Russell please do not be foolish - You were meant to be together stop fighting for half an hour and have a proper think about it !! Cancel or postpone the divorce papers please . I do hope I am not the only one who thinks this !!

In fairness to Katy and Russel, they are only technically getting divorced, in actuality they only signed up for a 3 month marriage.
Oh its all the rage - preset term marriage contracts. 3 months is actually a long time, you can get 1 day marriages, or, for the more adventurous, 2 week cruise marriages.

Anyway, Katy Perry is pretty talented and she asked Russell to file so her Evangelical Christian parents would not be sad about her destroying the marriage.

All we know about Ron Paul, is that he's 'wacky' and doesn't represent liberal values - riiiiighhht.
Dig a little deeper and you find that he really is wacky - sad but true, but his support is coming from quite a significant value for both liberals and conservatives alike - a belief that the judicial system is important and should be part of checks and balances on government abuse of power.
But how about that katy, she's cute, and I hear she's about to be single.
I don't see why any of these stars, entertainers, or athletes get married. They fool around or just get divorced in no time anyway, so what's the point?

No wonder entertainers are nothing more than the shallow, "popular" kids from high school, no depth, all show. 14 months, seems like they really tried their hardest to make it work.... thank God they didn't screw up any children in the process.
He's divorcing HER ..let's get it right ladies.. so she is the one most likely got CAUGHT being illicit against the vows of the marriage.. but to be honest given Russell's drug addict history and crazy behaviour..
