Drug addicts are to be pitied - until they bust my car window looking for stuff to sell to get their next fix - then you can toss them into the slammer for all I care and toss the keys away.

- He was a sick perverted joke of a loser, and many in this country view him as a hero, speaks volumes for thier moral standards. Had it been a regular joe that admitted to sleeping with little boys they would have put him UNDER the jail. LA spent 1.4 million on his memorial. I hope they spend 1.4 million on a memorial service on the next American soldier from LA that dies in Iraq or Afghanistan. Rep. King has guts, he said what many were afraid to say. Miscreants come in many forms, such has child molesting, drug addicted, mentally ill pop stars.

- Governor Schwartesnegger needs to lead his state legislature into banning certain drugs from being sold in his state. It is clear that the most addictive and dangerous ones are finding their way in the hands of the wealthier citizens and killing them.

- And you know this for sure??? You know he did what he was accused of how? I'm curiuos because I'd like to know where you got your information from. Where you there? You believe it why? Because he made some bad decisions trying to be "kind" to children, and treat them better than he was treated by his own father? Because he chose to turn white? NO AMOUNT OF MONEY would be enough for me if someone molested my child. Think about that!!! Yes Michael had issues, but don't we all. There aren't too many of us that didn't have disfunction in our families. He dealt with it the way he did and the only person he hurt was himself, and now his children who are left fatherless. Get a life and go fight about something worthwhile, like homelessness,hungry children etc... Do something good... like Michael did.

- As usual the police and the feds will blame the doctor or the drug and not the drug abuser (Jackson). And where were his family, his friends? Where were Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton on this drug issue? Boy, once he kills himself with these drugs then the charges fly and some doctor will get treated like trash for the acts of the abuser.

Your posting name answers alot of questions. Secondly Just because I think Micheal Jackson was a POS does'nt make me a racist or a bible thumper. There is seriously something wrong with people like you that overlook vulgar and perverted behaviour from Micheal Jackson just because he sang a couple of songs. He has made no difference in my life, I could care less that he is dead, at least there a few less little boys that will be violated in thier lives. Speaking of racism, what kind of person thinks so lowly of thier race that they bleach thier skin, have thier noses reshaped, hair straightened and ensures that thier kids are white. - 1. Normally, the cops go after the drug pusher to get the drugs off the streets. It should be done in this case also - even if it means getting "clean" medical people off the rich streets.
2. NO ONE considers Michael a hero. MANY consider him a great talent, great humanitarian and many other wonderful titles.

As is customary today, we do not blame the performer himself but instead blame his doctors, his handlers, his record producers, his record company, scores of others, and failing that, a ?racist American media? bent on destroying Mr. Jackson and teaching him a lesson. Shall we blame his errant fascination with sleeping with young boys on his autoimmune disease? Was it because of his vitiligo that he so dramatically altered his face to the likeness of Elizabeth Taylor and appeared almost ghost ?white??
Michael Jackson?s problems were because of Michael Jackson. No longer were there any constraints to and limits on his darkest passions, and he was free to explore them with utter abandon. With that kind of fame, power and wealth he could do whatever he wanted, forever cocooned from responsibility with his clever team of attorneys who helped drain him of his billion-dollar fortune. He was drug-addicted and was warned by family and friends to seek help. In the end, though, Mr. Jackson refused to believe he had a problem, just as he refused to believe there was anything wrong with his proudly-professed interest in young boys. These facts, and many others like them, were not created and widely circulated by a malicious media but were created by a man who was taught from an early age to buy his way out of scandals and embarrassments, all in hopes of protecting his precious legacy as a legendary performer, which by all accounts (including my own) he was.
Michael Jackson will forever be remembered as a gifted artist and performer. But, in the same breath, there will be the many whispers of doubt in a man whose mighty musical career was beset by scand al and shame, and all of it by Michael Jackson?s own famously sequined hand.
- I totally agree that Michael Jackson is responsible for his abuse of drugs, not the doctors. The bottom line is this. Michael Jackson begged for these drugs, fired people if he could not get drugs, and turned against his own mother and family when they urged him to get help.
This is Michael's addiction and his lack of self-control caused his death. Plan and simple. No one is to blame but Michael Jackson.
I think Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Sharpton should have been there speaking to him and on their knees praying for him then. They always want to put the blame on everyone else, instead of ?Looking in the Mirror? at Michael.

- You are a bit confused. The doctor is supposed to be the medical expert, not the patient. Whoever the doctor is, he did violate some serious laws. Giving drugs to Jackson that were meant only to be used in a hospital setting, prior to surgery? Yes, that doctor should lose his licence and be prosecuted for the laws he broke, and be sued in civil court as well.
