Sorry, noorvik, but that's a serious accusation and requires EVIDENCE. Imagination is not good enough. Not nearly good enough. Michael was absolutely appalled by the idea he might do ANYTHING to hurt a child and his life was pretty much ruined by the false accusations. The purity of his intentions and his character shines forth in his face and his words and is there for all to see -- all who are sensitive to it and honest enough to acknowledge it, that is. At his memorial service yesterday, those who knew him best attested to it. The hateful bloggers who didn't know him are just noise to be ignored.

Actually, in the part of the globe where I live (Europe), people think highly of Michael Jackson. I think many other cultures are more understanding of true artistry than America often is. People like Michael Jackson are not successful musicians simply because they are talented. They work and work and work and practice and practice and practice. MIchael Jackson was no saint, but he was a great man and a great artist. His family loved him; his children loved him; he moved the world.

Perhaps MJ crossed boundaries with children. Perhaps he struggled to deal with the life of high fame as did many top celebrities of days-gone-by. Perhaps he occassionally failed to not be overwhelmed by the insanity that this kind of high fame puts in your face 24/7. Perhaps, he fell into a self-destructive cycle.
Nevertheless, his kids loved him dearly because he made sure to give them lots of love, and everyone who was close to him, even if only for an interview, recognized what a sweet and kind man he was. I pity all of you overly judgemental people out there; I would hate to be you.

I pray God doesn't judge you as you have so quickly judged one who has contributed more to charity then any other pop star in all history. Judge not least you be judged.
