- you're kidding right? Let your family support your grandfather, along with his family/friends. Celebrity is celebrity and the public liked Farrah and wants to hear!!

- We are Gods while alive.
We are Devils while alive.
In death, we are neither.
She lived, and brightened the world as an Angel and being.
The world will miss its lost Angel. - Reply to this comment
- It is news! She was a celebrity! If you don't care, why bother reading it & commenting on it?

- It's just news because she is a celebrity.

- You know...that's a good point. Maybe CBS can run at least one(average person's obituary)daily. That would be interesting & more people would "tune in" to read it. The family could contribute information. It would have to be a random pick.

- We can all remember this beautiful woman as she looked on THE poster. The pictures of her decline on the supermarket tabloids have been revolting - just trying to make a buck out of what should be a private tragedy. We'll miss you.

- If every death was commented on in the news every day, that would be all there is on TV. I'm sorry for your grandfather's illness, but come on, be realistic.

- Someone who writes idiotic, witless comments just to get a rise out of people - mrs trep is a renowned expert.

- I'm sorry that Farrah has lost her battle, but my grandfather is losing his battle as well. Why isnt my grandfather on the front page of CBS? Why does it have to be Farrah?
Point being, why does the media place supposedly famous Holly-Weird types above the common everyday folks out there? What is it about them that they need to get media coverage outside of all of us? - Reply to this comment

- Sunflower62 -- No, I'm not kidding? What in your dummy brain, makes Farrah more important that either my grandfather, or anyone else that has lost a family member?
- In fact Sunflower62 -- Why dont we put politics aside for a moment, and let's start a petition and submit that to CBS to cover all of us average Americans (not saying that Farrah was not) and let's give them our families stories.
Our wives, brothers, sisters, grandparents who sacrificed all of their luxurious lifestyles to take care of other family members who were down on their luck. Who sacrificed their lives for the very freedom you enjoy now, who sacrificed their whole lives to the betterment of their children and other family members.
How about that?
- For the same reason my death won't make national headlines. I am neither a famous person nor a household name. There are people who achieve great things and are known to most people. Farrah was one of those people. Look at the number of articles posted by CBS about Michael Jackson's death. Again. Michael Jackson is famous and most people know who he was.

Her spectular performances of her career in The Burning Bed and Extremities. Finally proofing that she is a wonderful actress.
A life defintely cut too short.
So beautiful, so young and so sad.
RIP-Farrah- I for one will never forget you.

My sincere sympathy to all her friends, family and especially to Ryan and Redmond..... - Reply to this comment
- What a beautiful and fun woman she was. 62 is too short of a life. When will we cure cancer? 17 forms of viagra but no cure for cancer? What is wrong with this country??
