- Why does the press feel the need to tell the nasty details? Who needs to know? Mr Carradine was a distinguished actor and now they have tarnished is image. Shame on the press and CBS.

Yes, all we need to preserve an actors reputation, is for all the newspapers in all of the world to suppress the facts.
I guess that seems like a decent trade-off to some. - Reply to this comment
- It's just like the movie The Ruling Class, where the second Earl of Gurney dies accidentally while indulging in a little auto-erotic asphyxiation. What a way to go!

- Probably a murder and robbery--made to look like an auto-erotic suicide--except the victim was 72. It is questionable that he even had a libido to want any kind of sexxx--viagra and other drugs not withstanding. this looks like a possible cover up--nothing worse for tourism than the idea that a place is not safe or that the locals are gunning or hanging for foreigners--best to shut it all up and call it a suicide-- fake lurid details and all.
The press and bangkok police just jumped on the auto erotic angle after all the speculation by bloggers--now go one step further bangkok police and consider foul play--we know you have cameras in the expensive and swank hotels in Bangkok--who entered or left Carradine's floor via elevator during the day of the discovery and the day before and what were they carrying? - Reply to this comment
- Let's hear it from the right-wingnuts religious reich conspiracy theorists. Was it space aliens sending us a message to desist from wild sexual aberrations and to kill gays as well as godless atheists? Or how about a CIA plot because Carradine was secretly working as an assassin for them using his martial arts skills (minimal at best) to help them change the course of history via selective killings? No idea is too wild for you so, entertain us all some more.

- I'll never understand this kinky practice. INXS singer, Michael Hutchens died the same way, years ago. What a dumb way to go.

More accurately...
Why did the press need to first claim it was suicide?
If Carradine's family had accepted the "suicide" line, would it have gone down in history as suicide? - Reply to this comment
- He was in Bangkok, Thailand for goodness sake! A place known for sex and porn. My guess is he ran into a sweet little honey for a little bit a money and wanted to get kinky with her. He died, she freaked and fled the scene.
Fine older gentleman or not...he was in good shape for his age and probably still had a healthy libido. - Reply to this comment
