truthislife: i can see that you are sincere in your beliefs. i am an atheist, and do not believe in heaven or hell. therefore, neither the promise of heanen nor the threat of hell means anything to me, other than mild amusement regarding who accepts this story

Hey, truth is life -

the bible also says that it is up to our interpretation. Are you saying that you interpret the bible better that all of that have come before you?

Interpretation is your view, and you deserve that view, you just don''t deserve to force that view on others.

Thank is christianity in it''s finest

To honestabe8:

Yes, Bible does say that those who PRACTICE this particular lifestyle will not end up in eternity in Heaven. But remember, homosexuality, along with other things listed in Ephesians and Galations, is just a symptom of the REAL problem. There were many people struggling in Rome with homosexuality that were in the church. Many of the people who do homosexuality are really struggling to get out, even though it may feel good and wonderful to them. The problem is there is no relationship with Jesus, He is not in their heart. People do not go to heaven because they reject Jesus, not because they are homosexual. That is only a symptom of the problem. God absolutely loves these people and will move heaven and earth to have them spend eternity with Him, it''s just that they feel judged and not loved. The gay person fully realizes that giving his heart to the Lord will cost him his pleasure and maybe his friends (?), but it will give Him peace in his soul and he will not be at war with God anymore. Romans 1, Romans 5

If I had a dog as ugly as Ellen,

I''d shave its arse and make it walk backwards!

No wonder she''s a deviant.

God showed us exactly what we need to know. He even gave it to us in writing. It''''''''s called the Bible. And in it He clearly declares that homosexuality is a sin, and that those who engage in it will end up in Hell. Make no mistake about it.

Just as I thought! One who can''t think for themselves without consulting the bible first! How sad you are to weak to function as a normal human being! When are people like you going to learn to ''live and let live''??????? You are not responsible for someone else''s behavior! The rest of us are growing weary of your kind. Get a life while there is still time!

To all of you who can''''t accept this blessed event I ask this question: why do you allow your minds to be owned by your religion? Have you no faith in God to show you what you need to know?

Ellen is one of the few ''upstanding'' people in Hollywood as far as I know. She''s smart, witty, funny and charismatic. Who cares if she''s not into men?

You''re STILL here screeching your hate? My gosh - don''t you have a life to go to - anything at all? Or do you just sit in front of your pc all day and let the bile overtake you and everyone you can drag down with you? Shocking... Just a suggestion - turn off the *** pc already!

Blessed event? Oh please? They have been living together for ages they are both old birds and they are not Christians? What a silly thing to say, omded! Obviously you have no idea what the word blessed even means!

Hey brother don''t you sing so quiet, no
I need a beacon to guide me through the night
Oh let me hear your hosanna
come on and let me hear your prayer
I''m going down to the city, I got a home there
Oh my heart is tattered and my spirit grows cold
Let me see your wisdom Lord before I get too old
Let me hear your hosanna
Come on and let me hear your prayer
I''m going down to the city, I got a home there

Struggle out on the wheel I don''t know better way
Tell my soul''s up in heaven and the world''s gone away
Let me hear your hosanna
Come on and let me hear your prayer
I''m going down to the city, I got a home there

the last day''s done and the darker hour draws nigh
Might the wings of gold surround me and my salvation fine
Let me hear your hosanna
Come on and let me hear your prayer
I''m going down to the city, I got a home there

no more than the sinner needing faith and love
Simple grace my soul and my shield armor to run this Christian race
Let me hear your hosanna
Come on and let me hear your prayer
I''m going down to the city, I got a home there

child rapists are almost completely heterosexual males.
Posted by elicatlover at 07:47 PM : Aug 17, 2008

This is not true. Child rapists can be either homosexual, heterosexual or bisexual depending on if they only target victims of their own gender or do both.

if a man targets boys--he is performing homosexual acts--and if that man turns out to have been a married man with children--the acts are still homosexual--what is not clear is if he is just homosexual (and the marriage and kids just a cover) or if the man is bisexual. In any case, if a person targets one gender exclusively then what they do in their "Public" lives is probably a sham. Many, many men can be homosexual and do target males for sexxxx--as for their "wives" or "children"--that can be the icing on their cake to try to prevent others from suspecting what they really like and do--but it does not change the nature of the act (male to male or male to female or female to female)

Wow, Portia should have married someone hotter than Degeneres like that Borg Chic from Star Trek 7 of 9.

Now that would have been a match!

Posted by fedupwithit1 at 05:03 PM : Aug 17, 2008

Portia appears to have married the person that she loved. This means she is not part of some male--watch the hot chicks muff bump fantasy...believe it or not, homosexuals DO fall in love and do want to express their love and commitment like everyone else--this means they are not marrying to entertain the voyeurs or fans watching--they marry to underline their dedication to each other.

That said--if you are not going to redirect who every single person marries--no point in showing your ignorance by starting with Portia and Ellen.

Congrats to the two ladies--and may the best of the past, be the worst of your futures.
