This is no longer a story. It doesn''t matter how many times they reprint the same information. Heath did not commit suicide (accidental or otherwise), and the autopsy results will not be in for another week. Then they will find out he died of natural causes, but it will not be announced, because that will not be "news".

Heath filled the vacuum created by the Britney story fatigue. Next?

The U.S. is being held captive by the media; no ifs ands nor buts about it.

When a famous actor in his 20''s dies, that makes news. What are you gonna do. I paid attention to it.

Funny that about 85% of currency in circulation has some residue of illegal drugs on them, he just happened to have a clean one. This reports contradicts many that were reported earlier. Either way, it''s a shame that a youg person such as himself has passed.

I loved his acting. He played powerful, meaningful roles, such as in The Patriot and Knight''s Tales. He made you believe in the characters he played. He was a wonderful person, both on and off the screen. The fact that he had 6 prescription medications is not cause to say he was a drug addict. As a medical transcriptionist, I type up some patients who are on 15 to 20 or even more medications. I myself am on at least 6 for various reasons, although some are as needed meds. Just let him rest in peace and appreciate the things he did in life.

He''s dead. Why can''t people leave him alone? He''s not Elvis, and Elvis wouldn''t have appreciated all the post-rigor drooling either.

Oh, the righties who say the dude was h0m0sexual. Grow up. It''s the second most ridiculous thing I''ve read today...

To the lefties who say "Don''t be a closeted fundie xian" to those who claim Heath was a **** (whatever), will you accuse or be people of your own integrity and sleep with the accused fundies? I mean, some fundies are hypocrites. Not all. But that hypocrisy is certainly no different than telling other people what to or not to do - without using your croc tears of being pro-society to give them a personal helping hand. The worst thing y''all can do is preach and not be true to YOUR words either. You lot can grow up too.

"Many, many other, people who had lived lives of value also died yesterday. Where is their media saturation?"

Suzanne Pleshette barely got a mention the other day.

(But of course she was 70.)

"I"ve said it once & I"ll say it again, Heath Ledger was the best defensive end in NFL history."

I thought you said Bobby Fischer was.

Neither one could hold a candle to Amy Winehouse as a defensive end, IMHO.

Per ABCNews - the $20.00 tested clean - no cocaine residue. Looks like this death has nothing to do with illegal drugs. And the medicines in his apartment were all in his name, from legitimate doctors.
