I think he was even stronger after his brokeback. On defense he terrorized quarterbacks by aggressively hitting them from behind. On offense he was never afraid to go over the middle in traffic & use his hands to reach around defenders. - Reply to this comment
- Come on folks, if you''re going to take illegal drugs, stick to weed.

- why do people assume if you have alot of meds you are an abuser??? i have several chronic conditions including rheumatoid arthritis systemic lupus , fibromylagia and all with chronic pain and take anxiety meds, fentanyl patch , elavil to sleep. as well as an SSR antidepressant, which are commonly prescribed for people with cronic pain. i also have a codine pain pill for headaches. i do not get high or an "altered" mental status from any of these meds and they do not make me sleepy either. also there are antidepressants prescribed for a people to help stop smoking. he may or may not have had a problem. but reguardless i am tired of the speculation about how many prescription meds someone has. i have 12 for chronic conditions . it does not make me a druggie or abuser. i would love to not need them!

- I''ll bet Mary Kate could have gotten there sooner if she didn''t have to purge first.

You are correct--back in the old days a lot of players went both ways. He was by far the most popular Cowboy in team history--especially in the locker room. - Reply to this comment
- Lets give Heath some respect here, can we?
I mean, come on people...lets not call this guy names and downgrade the guy while he is at rest.
This world has some evil folks roaming around.
I see a few comments listed on the positive note, but most are just bashing, its insane.
People like this is what makes life sh*tty!! - Reply to this comment
- "The definition of substance abuse is really up to one''s perspective," Daniels said. "I didn''t see him as a drug addict. I saw him as someone who enjoyed life. I know drug addicts - he was not a drug addict."
Uh-huh... and a healthy person taking 6 different drug prescriptions isn''t a drug addict. Right, sure. - Reply to this comment
- Heath Ledger
He is dead,
Time to move on.
More important things going on in the world to be concerned about than a drug addicted, dead, looser. - Reply to this comment
- easeup: from what i understand, in one movie he went from tight end to wide receiver...

- I agree - the housekeeper and the masseuse should be held a little responsible, if they find the exact time of death (not when the EMS DECLARED him dead) was after the two phone calls to MK. I know she LOOKS powerful and amazing, but I don''t think she can diagnose or assist over the phone - so if 911 had been called when the housekeeper FOUND him, he might still have been saved. A sad waste of talent and humanity. Rest in Peace, Heath.

- Either God is pulling a big joke on us, or we need to find someone/something else to worship.

I think Winehouse is more of a run-stopper. Ledger was a pure pass-rusher.
Will they bury him in his Hall of Fame blazer? - Reply to this comment
- I''d suggest they check for fentanyl. It''s what''s behind a lot of multidrug toxicity these days. "You think it''s butter, but it''s not! It''s... your dead!" (Sung to the tune of the butter commercial.)

- Of course, calling Mary Kate was not the correct thing to do. 911 should have been called first, CPR administered until paramedics arrive. All others can be called once paramedics arrive. Sorry housekeeper, seems you are in a bit of trouble here. ...a persons life can depend on a few minutes.
Mary Kate... you just put the icing on the cake for all the trouble.(calling security was not cool either) - Reply to this comment
- This is a tragic loss of a talented, promising life. What it should not be is the subject of a string of news stories that go as far as reporting on the condition of the corn found in his last morning''s constitution.

- I just wonder why the masseuse didn''t call 911 right away and i think something fishy about the whole thing. To many actors are being found dead and just written off as sucide or overdose of drugs. Was he check to see if he smother in his sleep. Did the masseuse started working on him and he died. We will never know. Just thoughts that goes threw one head.

- What was the deal about the person that found him calling Ms. Olsen twice before calling 911? Why didn''t she call 911 to begin with. Is there any possiblity that he could have been saved if she had?
