Comments on: Heath Ledger's Body Leaves Funeral Home
The Actor's Grieving Family Has Thus Far Chosen To Keep Funeral Details Private
- NONE OF US KNOW WHAT WE WOULD DO IN THAT SITUATION. IT ALL VERY EASY FOR US TO SIT BACK AND JUDGE THIS POOR WOMAN. SHE WAS OBVIOUSLY TRAUMATIZED AND NOT THINKING PROPERLY.

- Wow. Gen-Y knows how to respect life. Find somebody dead? Call that bimbette from that stupid s*itcom three times because one of you keeps hitting that "hang up" button, probably mistaking it for the "fast dial to the pizza chain" button... thrice, before calling 9-1-1.
Okay, I shouldn''t revel in such conjecture. But other people are, so na na-nee naaah-nah. :P
Maybe America really is doomed. :( - Reply to this comment
- There is a scene in the film "Traffic" where a bunch of kids panic when a friend passes out at a drug party.
The end up dumping his body outside a hospital emergency room.
This of course was nothing like that; illegal drugs probably weren"t involved, and the masseuse and Mary-Kate both behaved responsibly.
It"s just that people often panic momentarily in situations like this. - Reply to this comment
- "Heath is unconscious. I don''t know what to do!" Wolozin said in her first call to Ms. Olsen, reports the New York Post.
Young men that age are sometimes just passed out from alcohol.
The paramedics are not usually called.
Mary-Kate Olsen probably did the most to try to save Heath Ledger"s life by insisting that paramedics be called. - Reply to this comment
- Something sounds really fishy.
When someone is unconscious you call 911. Even a 5-year-old knows that.
I''m glad they are investigating. - Reply to this comment
- I''m not defending the masseuse, she should have called 911 immediately after finding Ledger "unconsious", but the reason for her hesitancy was probably because Ledger was such a famous person and she didn''t want to unnecessarily cause a media frenzy. If so, her plan didn''t work.

- Rhea Perlman, that is. (The no-nonsense waitress on Cheers)
That"s the kind of person you need in an emergency, not Mary-Kate Olsen. - Reply to this comment
- I don"t have a young female masseuse.
Why did Heath Ledger have one ?
And my phone is programmed to call Rhea Perleman in an emergency. - Reply to this comment

- "Heath Ledger''s masseuse spent nine minutes making three calls to actress Mary-Kate Olsen before she dialed authorities for help."
Ah, there"s the rub. - Reply to this comment
- You media people just can''t leave this alone, can you? It''s entertainment news!!!
The masseuse took 9 minutes to call 911? And she called Mary Kate Olsen 3 times first? maybe for a total of 11 minutes? Ahhh, I see it now!
I was obviously a plot to emulate the 9/11 attacks! And Mary Kate was an Israeli spy. But the real question is.......where was Ashley? - Reply to this comment
- 9 Minutes ??

- He is not longer with us.
Broke Back Mountain did him in.

- The media keeps making a big deal out of the six different types of medication found at the apartment, with the insinuation that Ledger may be abusing drugs. Well FYI, most Americans have way more than six meds in their medicine cabinet.

- Puzzler125, I doubt very much you can prosecute someone for lapse in judgment. Obviously the masseuse panicked, when she should have called 911 right away.

- "The Agony and the Ecstasy" - Heston played Michelangelo in that film.
It was the "Brokeback Mountain" of its day.
"The greatest written expression of his love was given to Tommaso dei Cavalieri (c. 1509%u20131587), who was 23 years old when Michelangelo met him in 1532, at the age of 57. Cavalieri was open to the older man''s affection: "I swear to return your love. Never have I loved a man more than I love you, never have I wished for a friendship more than I wish for yours." Cavalieri remained devoted to Michelangelo till his death.
Michelangelo dedicated to him over three hundred sonnets and madrigals, constituting the largest sequence of poems composed by him."
