- Well at least Jamie Lynn and her baby won''t be on welfare, state health care, health benefits, section 8 rent and all the other freebies the government gives to many single moms. Yeah, its screwed up but if they aren''t costing the taxpayers anything, I couldn''t care less.

- A perfect example of what modern culture has done to us a nation. These little media darlings and their antics detract us from inflation, the struggle of the middle class, and every other impact on real life. And for what? So we can read about how a teenage girl got knocked up by her child molester boyfriend? What parenting tips can these people impart to us?

- why is this headline news? It''s unbelievable what our media picks as a "front page" story. every morning news show; every major online news site. The private lives of our celebrities overshadow anything of significance that would impact our lives. How about regularly reporting on the lives of our soldiers or military units instead of a 30 second blurb.
One morning news show called the Spears pregnancy "another Spears family scandal". Yet unmarried couples who adopt children (ie jolie/pitt) are pillars of our entertainment community. No wonder our priorities are so screwed up. - Reply to this comment
