What a sad waste of a life. He would have been better off in many ways if he had been convicted for the murders.

With his celebrity status, he''s in a very public virtual jail, but without the protections of the real one. He can''t earn money without it going to the families of his alleged victims. He is hounded by the media. His life is exploited by others--perhaps even stolen from him--for profits in which he doesn''t share. He is recognizable and treated as a pariah by most people.

This is a Greek tragedy: a man who overcame much to achieve fame and fortune, but was brought to ruin by his power and his pride.

O.J. - Not just despicable anymore - but a despicable idiot.

During his original trial I bought the "reasonable doubt" bit because of a number of things - the sheer incompetence of Marcia Clark and Dearden, the arrogance of Lance Ito, the time frame in which he could have done the killings and rushed to an airport being cool and collected, and Nicole''s own not-exactly rosy past.

Also - while I was totally abhorred by the killings, I had met Fred Goldman and he''s a totally a&&. An angry parent would have decked either OJ or that piece of cr&p Johnny Cochran* on the street.* Thank goodness that dirtbag bit the dust.

But since then, OJ in a combination of his own arrogance, stupidity, obnoxiousness, has cooked his own goose in my opinion. The schmuck is aiming for a bad end.

Also, I feel the charges are trumped up. One could say that he was entrapped? by Ricco! Nevertheless, I think they was waiting for the Juice to screw up once. So they could put him away for life or a very long time. Again, there is white justice and black justice. But, I''m not sure what catagory O.J. goes into?

He is charged with assualt with a deadly weapon even though he had no weapon and there is no evidence of any assault.

Sounds like Clark County District Attorney David Roger should be facing an ethics investigation soon and be disbarred.

Sleaze bag prosecutors...they never seem to stop showing their true colors.
