PS The below based on the fact that he was an adult rather than a teenager experiencing growing pains where everything feels like a roller coaster and everythings all new . . . sorry if that came across as insensitive to peoples'' losses . . .

Wow, that''s so shocking. He seemed to have it all - great career, money, close family, lots of friends . . . his love life sounds like it wasn''t in a great place, but that can''t be the whole problem. Maybe he had addiction issues he couldn''t get hold of? Substances can really mess with a person''s head, can''t they? But that''s just speculation . . . I just can''t fathom why somebody in his position would feel like suicide looked tempting.

PS Nevertheless, wow does this ever make me stop and take a second look at Kate Hudson. She cheated on her husband with Owen, then cheated on Owen with her next star, she makes comments about how women ought to be more understanding about men and their nature to cheat, only she''s the only one cheating in her relationships, plus she''s got a young kid . . . what''s her deal?!?

Unless you have been there you don''t understand. When your brain is not functioning right, you have all kinds of irrational thoughts. And it is very hard for someone who is rational to understand someone who is in the throws of serious mental illness. And a 15 minute doctor''s appointment every six months does not cut it in terms of real treatment. I feel sorry for him, and the rest of the clowns that posted here who just don''t get it.

This does not make him a bad person and I don''t see that he saw suicide as an easy way out. He is 38 years old, not one of this stupid 23 year olds running around with 4 kids getting married and divorced like they change their underwear. Unless you''ve been there, you wouldn''t understand.

The ones that seem so happy can quite often be the ones that are the most depressed. I have heard that a lot of commedians have problems with depression.
