He should have said "I should have kept my mouth shut". Anything else just proves that he still doesn't get it. Isn't it sad that the best thing his imagination can come up with a replacement insult?

HE and Rosie should start their own foot-in-mouth show. They could call it "The Chew".

This guy is a big baby, loser. I'd call him a stupid n-word, but then that would be bigoted, wouldn't? So, I don't say that sh***. And neither should he have said the fa-word.

Grow up, big boy...and welcome to the real world.

I know what color I am and what I've had to do to be sucessful. I also know that it doesn't make me a "tom" everytime I don't "give a brother a break" (I am so tired of that ****). I do not know or care whether gay is a choice or not so won't address that.
I think Dempsey should have been let go also, but the article was not about him. I also agree that Mr. Washington should have known better for two reasons. Yes, black people especially males are held under a different scrutiny (did he not know that?). But black people, are so sensitve to any antiblack sentiment (real or perceived) that they should be the last to use certain terms (which was my whole point fellas). And black people, that includes the n-word and "tom" which today seems to be used anytime one black person doesn't give another what he or she wants.

I think that the situation is unfortunate for Isaiah but he needs to let it go. Folks are not going to side with him. People are so concerned about what other say about a group of people that choose their lifestyle. When I am called the n word, it is not because of a lifestyle that I chose but because of something I have no control.

In general, if Isaiah was let go then the other guy should have been also. Also, I think Isaiah should have known better because African American people are held under different scrutiny than others. This holds especially true for males. And I hope he did not think he was saved because a black woman ran the show. I hope he has heard of another politically incorrect term called a "Tom".

And by the way, there still "do" exist is proper (but then, I'm socially inept). What some remnant of white folks fear, I could care less about. I have seen too many examples of how to be successful despite. But if you need it, keep it.

I really dont care who he attacked or why. I care about his endless whining and that his bs changes everytime he opens his mouth. By the way first i was a heterophobe now im a homophobe? Which is it? You dont know me. My opinion stands. I have a right to it. Its not yours. Your problem, so you get over it your **** self.

Certainly he did use a poor choice of words, and you're obviously socially inept, because there does still exist some white folks that become paranoid whenever a black man/woman vocalizes his/her views passionately and vociferously.

People say foolish things when upset, I understand what he was saying, and it wasn%u2019t an attack against women, ga#ys, or otherwise, which you and many others are blowing way out of proportion.

I think that spew about everybody being afraid of that "Strong, tall black man" and his "strong black voice" (what an dip) was some truly embarrassing BS. But he can tell himself what he needs to go on just like the rest of us.

elmoc_1 I'm speaking of you, get over it, this isn't about an attack on the homosex@ual community, stop seeing everything in black and white....

Washington was fired because of the altercation between him and Dempsy, that's what happened.

So, it is Dempsy who is the A@S HOLE, not Washington.

I guess Dempsy has gotten too big for his bretches.

When celebrities become so "irogant", as Dempsy as to feel no one has the right to question his rudeness, he's the problem.

This homophobic nonsense, is no different than blacks illegitimately using the race card to mask their own inadequacies, which is not the case here.

There are legitimate claims and illegitimate claims to racism and discrimination, Washington has a legitimate claim, however, this wasn't an attack against ga@ys.

I am indeed a member of two minorites (black and female) Anyone assuming otherwise is sadly mistaken. And my opinion stands. Someone as oversensitive as dear Ike should be the last to use any slur against anyone. I dont care if its the n-word b-word or f-word. Or even a few that most white folks dont even know about like ofay.

What's the reverse when homosexual individuals become anti-heterosexual, heterophobia.

He wasn't making a slur against homose@uals, and if members of the ga# community are that uptight, then it's you'll that have the problem.

If you can comprehend what was being stated, he had a heated argument with Patrick Dempsy over being late, and felt because he[Dempsy] invalidated or invaded his space that he[Dempsy] was trying to emasculate him[Washington].

Where do you people come up with such ineptness.

You want to talk about overreacting everything is not about homosexu#ls vs. heterosexu@als, some of you need to get over it and move on.

Let it go Ike. You are an embarrassment. As a member of two minorities, I can't believe that you would even use the slur you used. I wish you were not black, but at least you are definitely too anal retentive to be gay.

I hope this culture isn't getting so hypersensitive that it impacts freedom of speech.
I may not like or agree with a person's ideas or choice of language but people in this country do
have the right to voice their opinions. It's not like he advocated going out and harming anyone.
I will miss seeing him on Grey's Anatomy.

I think if the TR had said or did this to Mr. Washington we would not even be reading or hearing this nonsense I won't be watching Grey's this fall and it is sad that ABC fired him over some BS of this nature. And black actors learn to keep your mouth shut because you will always have to endure sometype of *** like this. TR Knight should have been fired too!

I may never watch Grey's again. You would think these people were adults and could get over it. Name calling is not a good trait to exibit but geez, get over it. The people that whine about being called names should go back to nursery school. This whiney *** is just so immature.
