This is what happens when our president and his cabinet are our examples, this contagious disease spreads to everyone " Corruptitis, strain W "

- Absolutely Right on!
Why should a beautiful rich white girl ever have to go to prison? Of course Paris is above the law! The law is for poor black people, not for the likes of Hilton's. The judge that put her in jail should be fired. I can't believe poor little Paris had to spend even one night on less than a 600 thread count! And obviously they had to sneak her out in the middle of the night - you can't have anyone seeing her without her hair and makeup properly done by professionals - well my goodness, she probably hadn't even had a BM in that horrible place! No way would she have been able to put her soft white pampered heiny on one of those disgusting things!
How in the world could anyone compare this to the Rodney King verdict! - Reply to this comment
- Like that one attorney said, my only guess is that maybe the Sheriff figured she was more trouble than she was worth, with all the publicity and her incessant whining.

- At this point I don't think little Nicole Richey has anything to worry about. She would like to stay out of jail for her offenses too but says she'll put in her time for what she did. Give me a break. She'll see what her pal Paris did and do the exact same thing. As far as learning a lesson and hoping others will benefit from her mistakes, take a number, probably in the 7 figure and a cruise and all will be forgotten. You can't tell me that she will be treated like a common criminal. How about giving the "common" criminal a break. They might like sharing a mansion to serve out their time also. We'll see if she has to guts to back up what she says is right.

- If the Judge in this case has any backbone and isn't intimidated by the Hiltons, he'll order Paris back to jail to serve out her sentence. And if she is ill, let her to taken to county medical and treated like any other inmate would be. Sending her back home to lounge around the pool while sipping contails with her friends is all but letting her give "the finger" to the court system, saying, you can't touch this. If the sheriff is afraid of alittle added security, he shouldn't be holding the position of sheriff. He was probably the one who put the braclet on her ankle while looking up her dress.

Would someone give me a break? Sharpton is on his way to L.A.? It must be a publicity moment. - Reply to this comment

You have the right to hire an attorney.
You have the right to hire an attorney who is smarter than the law
You have the right to pay an attorney as much as you want
If he can out smart the law....more power to you

- Shouldn't the sheriff be held in comtempt of a court order by allowing her to go home when the judge specifically said that she would not be allowed to do that? What a total miscarrage of our justice system.

- I am amazed that crying was what let this spoiled rich do-nothing get out of her sentence. Our justice system needs a serious overhaul.
