It is clear that the Hilton family bought Paris that "Get Out Of Jail Free" card. LA County residents should force a recall of Sheriff Lee Baca!

"NEW YORK - The Rev. Al Sharpton denounced Paris Hilton's release from jail on Thursday, saying it had "all of the appearances of economic and racial favoritism."

"I think that it's both another glaring display of how race and money seem to get different treatments. There seems to be a different criminal justice system for some than others," Sharpton said."

PUHLEEESE, why does he always make it about race?

It clearly is not about race, but about MONEY!

Here we go again! Another piece of trash makes it out of the penal system because of ILLNESS. I am so fed up with these brainless *** and their sneaky legalists. They are fabricators of mis-truths, exaggerated conditions and cop out reasoning. I feel like hitching a ride to Smellywood, getting plastered, endangering a few people, getting arrested, tried, sentenced and set free in a couple of weeks time. The best scenario? Having a slew of photomongrels there to snap my photos and send them all over the world. Then I too could claim to be famous!

I am appalled at the fact that she did not seem to have any medical problems BEFORE she went to jail to commence her well-deserved sentence that the court was aware of. Not liking the food is not a reason to be have her time in jail substituted for time at home. This sets a very bad example for all the rest of the folks that have not bought their way out of jail. They should serve her the jail food by delivery and make her eat it at home and then sent her arse back to jail to finish her sentence. SEND HER BACK AND GIVE HER SECONDS.

People don't understand. Paris has been so traumatized. From now on, she will always be a law abiding citizen. please send get-well cards to paris_hilton.com. I'm sure the poor girl will appreciate it.

Yes, and by the way, everyone is invited to a coming-home party, tonight, at the Hilton residence in Beverly Hills, CA. The Party will be held in the "special needs" room at the Hilton family compound, according to Hilton's lawyer, Richard A. Hutton. Hutton went on to say, "Yeah baby! We're going to party for 40 days and 40 nights after pulling this one off!"

I wonder what paid employee of the family is going to wear the ankle bracelet for her while she goes out and parties? If she was two faced about being strong and serving her time, bet being stuck in house is tooooooooo much also.

Don't blame Paris. It's the fault of her Grandfather, William Barron Hilton.

Paris is only the latest and most visible Hilton to bring shame upon the legacy of Conrad Hilton, founder of Hilton Hotels, extraordinary businessman, patriotic American, etc., etc.

Knowing the tendency that wealth has to corrupt, Conrad Hilton left his fortune to charity, trusting that his children would have enough character, brains and ability to make their own fortunes.

However, his son Barron apparently lacked 2 or more of those 3 qualities and used attorneys to overthrow his father's will. Thus was born the Barron Hilton fortune through ill-gotten gain.

It seems that Barron is worth $1 billion; his son Richard's share is $100+ million; the granddaughter Paris will receive a paltry $20 million or so, which entitles her to carry on in the same vein (or should I say vain) as her Grandfather before her: using lawyers to subvert what is good and honest for her own pleasure.

This is fantastic. No one in California has to obey the law anymore. I don't have to stop for the police and I can drive as fast as I want after I drink as much as I want. Thanks Paris for showing us all we don't have to follow the law. Not that paris was the first the illegal immigrants have been demonstrating this principal for many years now. Actualy its only the middle class that has to follow the laws the rich can buy their way out and the poor don't have any money for the government to go after so they don't bother with them.

I agree with you totally. They can use any "medical" excuse they want. We all know she bought her way out. She broke the law and where everyone else has to do the time, she didn't. Having money in your pocket will buy you anything, even your freedom. Our justice system just proved how unfair it has always been.

This proves the rich in this country are truly above the law. How sad for our way of life and our system of justice!

One last note, and I'll shut-up,folks...No the person who feels like with a war going on and our Troops losing their lives, even as we speak--Yes, you are absolutely right. Never let it be thought that any of us are insensitive to what's going-on there. Believe me when I say, they are not one day, far from my thoughts. Probably ALL of us can say the same.
And ***, there seems like there's not a whole lot we the people can do about that situation at this time. But there are SOME things maybe we CAN change. People like Paris Hilton are not important--but what they represent to society IS.
The "Law" does not treat us equally or fairly.
Like "Carroll O'Conner" once said in the show, "In the Heat of the Night", something to the effect of "now I know why Lady Justice is blindfolded: she's ASHAMED of what she might see."--The disaster of what used to be called "JUSTICE".

PLEASE! Don't think for a moment that we believe that MS Got Rocks was released because of a medical condition! I personally know a less than rich asthmatic that did his time for a like offense. No gold studded ankle bracelet for him! Please! Her money gives her a license to be destructive and irresponsible. Hopefully she won't kill someone in the process.

My Question to the Judge would be , What would you do if another Inmate Asked to be released from jail because they were sick? That judge would laugh them straight to the Jail clinic. Any normal citizen wouldnt get this special treatment ,why should she? Cause shes rich!
