I believe CBS has the right to cancel any show at any time, but I can't understand why they would canel a quality show like Jericho, watched by million of viewers. It was the only show I discussed with my friends and colleagues.

If the rating were not good and the show had "lost its engine", then why are there so many people out there expressing how they felt about Jericho?

I TRULY CAN SAY THAT THIS WAS A BONE HEAD DECISION. NOW ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS MAYBE GIVE US A 2 HOUR MOVIE TO TIDY THINGS UP. THIS SHOW HAD 8 MILLION PLUS IN THE WAKE OF AMERICAN IDOL THEY SAID THIS WAS WEAK. I WOULD THINK THIS WOULD TELL THEM HOW STRONG WE WERE. TO BUT THIS SHOW UP NOW A 4 YR VETERAN. AND TELL US HOW POOR WE DID I THINK THAT IS GREAT!! DON'T THROW US AWAY

I'm glad that CBS has noticed our efforts; However, Only Season Two Will Do. My family will no longer watch any CBS programming, until Jericho comes back. The people have spoken, and it is time that CBS either gives us what we want or we will go elsewhere. Goodbye CBS!! We briefly loved you!!!

I just want to say that the path network television is taking is one that i will not be following. No longer will I watch any new shows on cbs, or most other networks or that matter CBS execs are not the only morons out there. If a program looks good I will wait until it has been our for a season or two and then i will rent the seasons on dvd to catch up before i invest my time in a new show. I really enjoyed Jericho, it was a unique and intelligent show, which only got better as the season went on and then it was taken away by sheer stupidity. CBS killed the show by its long hiatus and scheduling it against American Idol, they even acknowledged this fact and still cancelled the show. Now they want to try and force feed us mindless reality shows and CSI clones, sorry thats not for me. no matter how hard you try I will not watch any reality shows and everyone should boycott reality shows, maybe then we will be free of them, I will continue to watch the few CBS shows i already watch and enjoy, like Ghost whisperer and numb3rs, but i will repeat myself and say i will not watch any new programming on CBS, even moonlight witch IMO looks awesome, but i am scared to invest my time in the show only to have it canceled so if it lasts for two seasons then ill catch up and start watching, maybe everyone should take this tactic and the the networks will give us shows we want instead of cheap reality shows and copies of shows that already exist.

Thanks so very much for posting this wonderful article regarding the SAVE JERICHO campaign of which I am happily a member of! I was devastated to learn that CBS cancelled the show. From the very first we'd heard of the show before the pilot aired, my family was excited! The show turned out to be incredibly good. I love the cast and the content has been thought provoking and challenging, as well as heartwarming and sad. I wholeheartedly support a season 2 of Jericho and will not stop fighting and I will not go away quietly. 9 Tons of nuts, of which I purchased both seperately and as part of the Jericho pool is just a symbol of my dedication to the show! Please save Jericho CBS. My entire family gathered on Wednesday evenings to watch and we talked about it for days afterwards..and then we couldn't wait for the next episode. We have also tuned in weekly to your interactive website which we have enjoyed immensely..all of it..the Countdown episodes, the interviews..the questions for Hawkins & Mystery Woman...the Wiki. We've been watching the entire season again this week which just makes us all the more determined!

SEASON 2 FOR JERICHO! A DEDICATED KS FAMILY

Thanks CBS for your report. Let me explain in short how I felt about Jericho. Because to go in depth would take me over the 1500 characters allowed. I could not wait till Wednesday night arrived. I can't tell you, the nights I watched Jericho sitting on the edge of my seat reminding myself to take a breath. This show captured my heart like no other. I've never gone to battle over any show. But Jericho is not ANY. Why can't CBS see this? Or is it to the point now that pride has blinded them to what is right. Is it easier for them to just stand their ground? Easier than admitting you were wrong? I see it happen so much these days in leadership (sorry, this does not apply to all!). They would rather be wrong, as long as they are still in control. Only problem with pride, it comes before a great fall. And unless those at the top bring back Jericho, and do what is right, CBS is facing their fall. And by the way, we personally don't give a "blank" about Nina Tassler's "sympathy". Her sympathy and CBS's "no plans" just continue to fuel the fire's of Jericho's "Why We Fight!"

ONLY SEASON TWO WILL DO! CBS, BRING BACK JERICHO! (Or let it go so someone else can have the glory.)

CBS officials say they've noticed the efforts by Braverman and the show's fans, but that there are no plans to bring back the show.

Thanks for the great article, every bit of media attention is welcomed with great appreciation.
Not in my 27 years have I seen anything like this before. So many fans of Jericho are taking (sometimes alot of) time from their schedules to bring attention to their beloved show. Let's hope anyone listens and we will get that second season that we so desperately want.

I am very unhappy about the loss of Jericho. My husband and I watched it evey week...even if we did have to wait and get it on demand through our Comcast cable. You have no idea the amount of people who watched it through on demand or Tivo....Very sad CBS that you are so short sighted. The fans deserve better than a 2 hour wrap up as well. I think you can see the dedication that we have when we band together to send you a bunch of nuts. Also keep in mind that we are determined and have vowed to boycott CBS until Jericho comes back. I for one will stick to this. We are tired of reality tv! Bring back Jericho and bring back your viewers!
