This show was one of the best in a long time and I think that CBS has made a big mistake by canceling it. Too many shows on TV are the same tripe and lack any originality at all. Please bring back this show, there are obviously plenty of people who want to see it back. Show that you do listen to your viewers (unlike other stations).

Jericho was one of my favorite new shows of the season. All of my friends watched it as well. The writing was great. It is a bonehead move at best to let Jericho go. I hope some other network is smart enough to pick it up so we can all continue to enjoy the show.

What a thought-provoking, challenging, and encouraging show is "Jericho!" It is the ultimate reality show because in the REAL world people of integrity like Johnston Green, really die just when you need them most and people with troubled backgrounds like Jake Green, really turn themselves around and step up just when you need them most. This show recognizes that life is not predictable but that the nobility of the human spirit cannot be squashed. Shame on CBS for replacing this testament to that quality that we need to so badly encourage in today's world, with shows about immorality and silly foolishness. Please reconsider your decision.

So I've heard it all day looked eveywhere and behold it is true. The best show on CBS and any other network has been canceled. NBC did the same with star trek and look at it today still thriving and well....I don't Know why, when something is good you destroy it only to bring in stupid reality shows like kid nation .. some kids in New Mexico...please rethink your descions as it will be a loss to the fans as well as CBS.....

Why doesn't CBS kill one of their other shows that no one watches... the CBS Evening News.

We watched Jericho as a family because it was a fun adventure would could live vicariously through and imagine ourselves in.

But there are plenty of other channels to watch...

In a world full of mind numbing reality shows and other tacky shows Jericho was a stand out. You have oversaturated CBS with CSI shows and yet you cancel one of the best to come along in awhile. Whoever made that decision should get a paycut for being a bonehead. I will probably have to watch stupid Cavemen on ABC. Goodbye CBS

I'm starting to wonder why I should even bother watching ANY new shows that come on any network anymore!!! For crying out loud if a show doesn't "prove" itself in three shows they trash it. Which I believe backfires on networks because people are getting so used to most new shows not lasting the first season that they don't bother to get invested or watch anymore...double negative. At this rate, we'll be left with nothing but trashy, unintelligent, disgusting reality TV. But I guess if that happens I can start saving money on cable and tivo and start reading more. There is always a silver lining.

Dear CBS - I can't believe you have cancelled Jericho. Is it because there isn't enough *** in it? The few times you have a show which is family oriented and really interesting and intelligent, you knock it off!! This show is about as close to reality as anyone can get and I really believe it is an eye-opener to what can occur in our nation at any given time. I wish you guys would reconsider this decision. If you don't bring this show back, I definitely will make sure that I don't watch ANY of the replacements and I don't think anyone will watch the garbage you dish out!!

What a shame to lose Jericho. I'm 63 years old and my neighbors and I thoroughly enjoyed the premise of this show. Most of have long since surmised that CBS doesn't care much about our demographic. Well CBS, 5 more old ladies are signing you off too.

What can I say about Jericho that hasn't already been said? Here's one, maybe you should have cancelled it when you went on hiatus. That way, I could have found something else to do for an hour on Wednesday nights. I don't watch shows religiously, and this was one of the few that I made time for, thankyou for giving us as much as you did, it's a shame to lose it. The cast, the writing, all of it, was something special. I will not watch CBS again. I'm adding it to my blocked channels list, just so I don't watch by accident.

I am very sorry to hear ericho is being cancelled. CBS caused it to "lose a lot of steam" due to the hiatus. Shame on you, CBS, for making a mistake and not fixing it by giving Jericho a second season

CBS, you're really making a big mistake. I dont' know where you're getting your numbers from but Jericho is the first show i've actually made a point of tuning into is several years. I'm so caught up that I'll even go to innertube and watch missed episodes even though the commercials are 20 times louder than the show.

Your dead people shows are getting old, your comedies are raunchy why are you doing this?

Very disappointed that CBS has chosen to cancel their very best show to come along in a long time. What kind of focus group did you guys use to make this decision? I too hope that someone else will pick this series up.

I just left CBS a comment and I'm serious... If they don't rethink their plans to cancel Jericho, I will NOT watch CBS, or return to this news page.

To CBS:

I sent the following to all of your clients that run commercials during Jericho's time frame on Wednesdays. I hope you reconsider your cancellation. I'd hate to have to boycott companies due to your fallicies. You should also fire all of the executives resposible for the cancellation of this show because it's obvious they did not research what shows are being watched by TiVO or DVR; therefore, they are neglecting their responsibilities as program directors.

I am a little upset with CBS fall programming due to the fact they have removed "Jericho" from their line-up. Because of this, I will no longer support companies that support CBS until the situation is remedied. It's my understanding you are a client of CBS; therefore, you will be affected. I am notifying you personally, so you can make a choice on continuing to support CBS.

What the hell? Why? Why would you cancel Jericho? I hope another network picks it up! Jericho and Criminal Minds were the only must see shows on your network for me. Please reconsider!

I am rethinking my entire CBS lineup.

I don't think I can afford to get interested in any new shows. There are plenty of news and sports and entertainment options on other networks.

Yeah, I think I'll cancel CBS as a viable viewing option.
