I am a overweight middle aged woman with three kids. Both of my siblings are gay. I have mental health issues of my own---panic/anxiety for 10+ years. And I am the most liberal person I know. You would think I would like Rosie.

But even I am tired of Rosie. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO Happy that she is getting her loud abrasive mouth off of TV. She is rude to the point of being verbally abusive. I used to like her until I started getting a daily dose of her overly opinonated mouth.

Ellen DeGeneres and the other strong lesbian woman in showbiz are the role models that young gay women need, not the mouth that Rosie is. You can be strong and proud with out beating people over the head with your over the top opinions. Rosie has done more harm with her rants to the lesbian community than any good she has tried to do.

The other gals on the view are lucky to get the break from her....the person I feel sorry for is Kelly....having to deal with her everyday.
The fact that Kelly has been with Rosie this long just proves that there is someone for everyone. Both Kelly and the gals from the View are much stronger women than me....I would have told Rosie where to go and what to do when she got there a LONG time ago.

The View needed a strong counterpoint to Rosie and with her uneducated, half-baked radical left-wing political tirade ramblings.Elizabeth doesn't have the chops to stand up to Rosie. The show needs a strong conservative voice with Elizabeth knowlegeable on the issues.
Barbara Walters is a disgrace. She has Rosie as a role model. Imagine children at home absent from school watching this trash with homosexual lifestyle. It is disgusting.

Rosie got great ratings at the View, made it talked about for a change. She was very good at her role there.

The reason the ratings went up during her time on the show is the same reason people flock to the freak show at the circus. "Ohhh how weird, how gross is that" But once you see the freak show it's time to move on. Which is what ABC is doing.

I am not sorry to see her azz go she and some others need to leave periord!!! Walters with her fake phoney self she too needs to retire, teach somebody else or something all of their stuff on the view is over! Lastly the NRA has nothing to do with deranged psychos not to mention he did not have to use a gun to kill I am tired of hearing about that one the real question that eveyone should be asking is why did the police allow school to continue after they found (2)db's? And why was this person allowed to slip through the cracks?And with all that Rosie does why does she not have class?

My God Man!
Have you even checked the polls on the news web sites? She's getting thrashed. An overwhelming number are glad she's gone. Even the ABC poll makes her look like a total reject.

I have a feeling she won't be as missed as you think. She used to be a really fun personality to watch on her old show, but in the last few years that just isn't true. She just has become so hateful and nasty in the way she communicates even about everyday subjects that she just isn't fun anymore. It's like she's ditched the youthful exuberance she once had and traded it for middle aged angst or something. (I'm middle aged, so don't start). Could be a mid-life crisis or menopause setting in. Whatever the case, I used to enjoy her a lot and anymore I just don't, because she just isn't a nice person anymore. Maybe during her off time from the show whatever it is that's made her so unpleasant will work itself out and the old Rosie will make a come back. I truly hope so.

Some of you people are pathetic. The only reason the view was getting spectacular ratings is because of Rosie. Before her, the ratings were low. Obviously there must be a great many more who like her that don't.
And as I stated before Rosie didn't just come up now with the excuse of not wanting to be there more than a year. She stated right from the beginning that she hadn't really wanted to do it.

And blongnec, she doesn't have to leave show biz completely for things to die down enough to where she can go places without people constantly coming up to her.
