- After thinking about this for a second, I have realized that we should all give the guy a break. It's tough getting paid big bucks to wake up in the morning, not take a shower or even comb your hair, go to work for four hours, and fill that time by spewing about all the things in this world that you hate, all while having gotten no sleep the night before after having spent all night hanging out in scuzzy bars trying not to drink or do cocaine. In other words, it's not your fault Don, and you did say you were sorry. I forgive you.

- KEITHGARDNER: so by your definition, it is ok to make derogatory comments about anyone as long as you say "I'm sorry" when your livelihood is in jeopardy?

- Are we sure that this idiot is free of cocaine and alcohol addiction as he claims to be? He is such a creepy, unclean and unsavory looking character. Has any evaluation ever been done of his fan base?

- Imus should be cancelled ASAP!!!. The folks at NBC and Microsoft should be ashamed for paying to put this bigot on the air. I have asked myself for years now how it is that this guy gets to spout his junk on national TV and radio every morning. His show is idiotic. It's not news, not even news-talk. It's just trash.
P.S. Dear MSNBC: Please replace him with a hottie morning girl, like Robin Meade from CNN. She is so nice. Imus on the other hand is depressing and makes me want to die, or at least, change the channel. - Reply to this comment

- You can complain to the FCC about Don Imus. I filed a complaint online. I may be contacting the NAACP and other organizations to see if they will follow suit in filing a FCC complaint - maybe if they get enough fines they will pull the show. Here's the link to the FCC: http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html The company that owns wfan is http://www.infinitybroadcasting.com

- I am sick of people making bigotted comments like this and then they turn around and apologize for it. That is bs, keep your apology. Everything that comes out of your mouth was meant to be said. Be a man. He apologized because it may damage his career or his manager/station told him to. rickflowe your comment regarding the Duke allegations...apples and oranges. You are reaching too far baby. Keep focused. Imus was talking about a basketball game and should have stuck to the story. The fact that he doesn't like their hairstyles or their race is irrelevant and his comment regarding their promiscuity was unfounded. If he wants to go on rants insulting races he should hook up with the KKK and create a show that flat out discusses that topic. rickflowe, in regards to your comment regarding hip hop music, don't forget who really runs the music industry, who buys the CDs and attends the concerts, white america. When a black artist comes out with something positive, uplifting and creative they don't get the backing that a gangster rapper would get because that is not the image that sells. That is not the image that is deemed "believable" or "marketable". Yes, there are performers out that should have never been put into the spotlight, but who put them there. Behind every song with "ho" and "b___" in their lyrics is a Tony Matola, Clive Davis and others. It really amuses me since people of ALL races and colors are spending millions of dollars to emmulate what they think we are.
