Comments on: "Idol" Finalist Sanjaya Safe Again!
A Hunger Strike To Send Him Home Fails; Is One Web Site Keeping Him There?
- AI is a singing competition. Now it's up to each of the finalist to show what they've got. This is there chance. Singing is not the only thing they have to do when they get on that stage. They have to perform for the audience and make the audience feel what is being said. If they cannot do that, then they should be voted off. I havn't been impressed by any of Sanjayas song choices and feel that he's had his chance just like the other finalist. Just make it fair and vote for the best performer.

- Yes, sir, that's my baby! Go sweet face, go! I said it before and I'll say it again, he's precious!

- He may have a poor voice, he may lack star quality but he has a bucket load of humility and seems a really nice young man. Older women want to Mother him, teeny boppers want to bed him and there you have it, he has appeal. As for the show? probably needs revamping if it is to keep in the ratings. They have certainly picked a few Muppets this time around but you reap what you sow Mr Cowell.

- I do not like the show, and usually leave the room when someone puts it on. However, the Sanjaya epic has me watching it more. I'm trying to find out how he's getting the votes. My biggest question is why does anyone care? Whatever the reason for the votes he's getting, more fun is being had by all. He's a bigger person than most, because he's going along with the flow. The top finalists are most likely going to enjoy a career they probably never would have had in the first place, so people should just leave it alone. If America gets into the game and starts voting for the guy, it could cause an upset with Sanjaya as the winner.

- American "Idle" psucks - why does anyone care? Send them all home and cancel the show entirely.

- Next week is Sanjaya's turn to GO HOME!
I'm sick and tired of looking at him. - Reply to this comment
- Because Sanjaya has stayed in the running, I now think that AI is legit when it comes to the votes, or else he would be long gone

- Where is William Hung when we need him most?

Correct - the judges only have themselves to blame for a lackluster group of men.
Then they criticize the guys each week, but they were less harsh last night. - Reply to this comment
- I like Sanjaya, but lets face it he is not the best singer. I feel that if people want to screw up the show by voting for him when they know he isn't good enough, then I feel that Sanjaya should eliminate himself from the competition. He will only look like a fool if he remains in the competition because people are voting for him, for the WRONG reasons.

- Except for Melinda and Jordin, the judges ARE finding fault in all of the singers, but they are finding waaaay more issues with Sanjaya than anyone else.
Why?
Because he is genuinely AWFUL! - Reply to this comment
- Sanjaya-----THE JUDGES PUT HIM THERE !!!!!! THEY PUT HIM IN THE TOP 24!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If they thought he was that bad why didn't they cut him then? I give Sanjaya every credit in the world for acting like an adult, when most of the actual adults are not.

- Why everyone is picking on Sanjaya is beyond me. If you wanted to, you could be really picky and find some tiny fault in everyone of the singers. LaKisha did not even smile last night. Chris admited that he was "Chubby", but at least Sanjaya is an original, and he deserves a break. You should never vote for the 'worst' singer in order to keep them on the show. Sanjsya will get a record contract whether he wins American Idol or not, so he should not even worry about all this nonsense.

- Yeah but did you see the funbags on LaKisha? She can sing her a*s*s off, but it'll take a really long time 'cause she's a whole lotta woman...

- Because this clown has been allowed to get into the top 12 and then stay this long, I now do not believe that Idol is rigged, otherwise he would be long gone by now.
But...the judges passed him on to Hollywood and now they look just as bad has Sanjaya does.
Last night was not good, it was funny, because he tried to act like someone who had hair on their chest. - Reply to this comment
- Sanjaya is a precious, precious young man. No, he isn't the best one on the show, but no matter what, every one of these "idols" will have fans. He obviously has some and you better believe some record producer somewhere will want to cash in on that fact. At that time if people don't like his efforts then they can do the same thing they have the option to do now: DON'T watch him perform and don't buy his music. Easy.
As for the NUT JOB on the hunger strike I can only say: "GET A LIFE, FRUIT CAKE!" NO t.v. show should EVER mean that much to someone and if it does than YOU are watching entirely TOO much! - Reply to this comment
