Natalie Maines for U.S. Senator from Texas. She is truly the "Comeback Kid" of 2007. It demonstrates that Hollywood and music Industry types are smarter, more aware, and ahead of the national political curve when it comes to serious political issues. This may be america's way of saying we're sorry, you were right. The american media was very, very wrong, AGAIN.

So hows this a "come back" as the Dixie Chicks never went away nor stopped singing.

gawd I hate cow kicker music..

As to Tony Bennett, he has such style and can still sing for a man his age. Its too bad some music groups couldn't learn little from him as to class.

I'm not sure I would describe as a "comeback" the endorsement of a group of Hollywood elitists. They aren't the same crowd that walked out on the Dixie Chicks in the first place, and their endorsement won't exactly inspire the triumphant return and acceptance the media would otherwise have you believe. To the contrary, the Dixie Chicks' awards are designed more a political slap in the face to her ex-base audience and to the Bush Administration than it is to acknowledge any genuine talent.
