Dear Terri And Family, Here in Louisiana Steve was always on our Television. Our 2 greatgrandchildren are only 3 and 5 but Steve and you have made a lasting impression on us all. Steve will always be remembered in our prayers as will you and the children. God Bless you .

The animal kingdom has lost it's greatest friend.

I admired and respected "The Crocodile Hunter" for his commitment to the animals and for teaching us about the wildlife. Even my family in Brasil is feeling the loss. They are all big time Crocodile Hunter's fan.

Steve's shows were all about entertaining and educating the people how to respect and protect the animals (for we need them), and I thank him for dedicating his life to that cause.

To Steve's family I send my peaceful thoughts.
He'll be forever loved by people around the world.

My whole family LOVED The Crocodile Hunter, however none of us more than my 8 year old son Tyler. He idolizes Steve. He is so broken hearted. He has never cried so much. His dream is to be just like Steve some day. I am hoping to keep his dream alive, however right now he feels very discouraged :( He said to me after learning of this tragic event, "Mom I just want to hug Bindi, so she won't feel alone". We wish the family all the best. Forever Fans

To bunionbabe,
you said, "All deaths are a tragedy, but it is ridiculous to mourn this man who was fairly insignificant in terms of science and conservation." and I find myself quite upset by it. yes, all deaths are a tragedy but I do not find it ridiculous to mourn him or any other person that dies, regardless of their education or line of work. I DO NOT see him as "insignificant in terms of science and conservation" at all, especially the conservation part. here, lets get the definition
