Terri,
Our whole family loved your family. My boys grew up watching you and Steve on anything he was on, be it your show or Leno or what ever we never missed it. You and your blessed children are in a world full of prayers. We were still trying to get out of bed on Monday morning when it came on the news my husband and I shot straight up in bed and we were glued to the T.V. in disbelief! We are so Sorry For your loss and hope God shines all his love and strength down on you in the coming days. You have proven to be a very strong woman,I wish there was something I could do for you! Remember when you look at the stars in the sky they are really holes that our Loved ones use to look down on us and keep a watchful eye on the ones they love. Hug your Children and never let the forget what a wonderful man Steve was!

Terri, i know at this time in your familys' life you are in pain and just want your husband and your childrens father back... but just remember the good times and how much Steve loved you and how much he loved all animals. Steve's death was untimely and tragic but if any good could come out of such a sad circumstance it would be for you and your family to know just how much the rest of us who knew Steve through television really loved and admired him. he will be sorely missed. he was a hero to many, and still is for me.

Terri, My family and I have watched Steve and yourself since the beginning and have enjoyed almost every episode and will miss him dearly. My wife and I just recently met a gentleman by the name of Kevin who says he grew up near Steve's family and also has gone surfing with Steve from time to time. Kevin works on large ships as a cook and a Pastry Chef, you may know him. My family and I are such devoted fans that Kevin told us we could come and stay with him and visit your family and enjoy the zoo. We still plan on doing this and will remain devoted fans to your shows and to the work and the animals that Steve was so devoted to. Steve, yourself, the kids and the rest of your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Fans forever,

The Swanson Family

Steves family, I am writing this becuase people say oh its hard to loose someone. It's not hard it's almost impossible. Steve was one of my role models. I am under 18 and he was my favorite science show becuase he made it fun! And i know that you will miss him veryyyy much. Steve had a good attitude and wasnt afraid of anything. I was in florida when i found out what happend. My sister came in at 7:30 am (which is very early for me) and said " THE CROC HUNTER DIED STEVE DIED!" usually i slap her and go back to bed, this time i couldnt go back to bed. It's very weird i didnt know him personally and i was terribly upset when i heard he had passed away. Im just saying that none of us really know what YOU are going through we might say we do but we dont. I hope you are not terribly upset for a long time hes up there ^ watching over you.
God Bless You All

Steve was in my opinion the greatest wildlife conservationist that ever lived. For him to take reptiles like crocodiles and venomous snakes including the fierce snake and educate millions of people on how we need to protect, respect, and even live with them is unprecidented. People who scrutanize his work are totally disrespectful to the lessons he taught all of us about the natural beautys of wildlife. My heart go's out to Terri and her children and even Steve's favorite croc Montey. There will never be another Steve Irwin but we all need to do our best to keep his legacy alive and help protect nature and its wildlife so that future generations may come and respect its beauty.

My deepest to Teri,Kids, family and friends. I think he took chances to educate the public on how important animal life is to us and the world.

This a great tragic to all of us that cared for this brave man.

I am so sorry that this has happened to a much loved man who has become a family member to many Americans. He brought humor and education to us, and provided so much insight into the living patterns of so many animals that we seldom, if ever, come in contact with. To me he was an educator, professional, and a guy that you just know would come over to the house for dinner and talk all night about the animals that he taught us all to love, and we would be inthralled in every moment. He was a friend to nature, and we will miss him terribly!

My most heartfelt sympatheies to the Irwin family. To Terri, Bindi and Bob as well as to Steve's father, Bob, and his sisters. I hope it will be of some comfort to feel that Steve is now with his beloved Mother, Lynn, whom he missed so terribly. His time had come, and hopefully he did not suffer at the end. I hope the Australians who loved him so much will have the honor of sending their messages to comfort the family at this time. Please know they are not alone. People from all over the world will miss Steve Irwin very much. He was good at what he did and did so much on behalf of all animals in the wild. Thank you for that Steve. I hope, Terri, you will be able to continue with his work, as that is undoubtedly what he would wish, I think. God bless you all. Wherever you are, he will be.

Teri, and Family. My son lost his father when he was 8 year sold he was a Police officer and an Armed robber killed him. I know what you are going through. My sons daddy died doing what he loved, but it doesnt make it any easier. Stay close to your family....Teri stay strong for your children you will have time to greave when they are not around. The most important is to help them through it. Bindi you and the world have lost a unbelieveable human being, he taught us more about nature then anyone has has ever thought about teaching. Keep that in your memories because you willhave a very large support system anywhere you go.

What a postive influence Steve was in the world of animals and nature. He brought life to a subject that seemed to have taken a back seat to other kinds of entertainment. He was genuine. Sure, I thought he was a little crazy from time to time, but his energy was contagious and I loved it. He will be missed.
