The fact is the Saudis and Iranians have funded a disinformation campaign against climate change study for a decade. They are desperately afraid that oil revenue will dry up and threaten their funding for Islamic jihad. The naysayers are not morons, or ignorant, or even Republicans. They're terrorists.

What you are calling/screaming "two nuclear cooling towers" are venturi cooling towers, a shape that provides a large amount of evaporative cooling (without the need for fans) since the efficiency of any steam-based power plant (nuclear, coal, etc.) is dependent on the delta of the temperature of the working fluid and the cooling fluid. Your lack of knowledge on this subject and willingness to evince your ignorance puts into question the logic/thought behind your subsequent ideologically based opinions.
Government and indusry must begin now to emphasize building more water desalinationn plants around the globe. All studies indicate that when basic shortages of water and food production occur, people will do what they always do: Fight to survive, and the the have nots will fight the haves.

The amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has very little effect on Earth's temperature overall over a long period as core samples of glaciers from the Ice Age show that carbon dioxide levels were much 2 to 3 times higher than they are now. Hence, the ice and glaciers formed even with extremely higher carbon dioxide levels - so much for global warming hooey.
