A think-tank led by Kofi Annan. No agenda there, no, not at all. Are we seriously supposed to believe that people have just now started dying from weather related events??? This is preposterous!

Scientists attribute at least some of the past century's 1-degree rise in global temperatures to the atmospheric accumulation of carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases, byproducts of power plants, automobiles and other fossil fuel-burning sources.

Here's an interesting paragraph.
"at least some"---Doesn't sound very convincing.
" past century's 1-degree rise"-----1 degree since 1909, Doesn't seem to be that fast of a rise.

Over the last year or so you are seeing fewer & fewer stories about global warming & many of the scientists that not long ago were convinced that "man was fully responsible" for the rise are now backing off those claims & taking the "man is partly responsible" position.
To say that temps are not rising is not honest, but to say that man is the only reason they are is also not honest.

Actually, there's been many more stories about global warming over the past year, but they never make it to the FUUXX NoNooz propaganda network. The DENIALISTS will continue to fight the scientific data.

Global Warming has been going on since the ICE AGE. The bad thing is that noone ever talks about the main cause of accellerated rate. It is that there are too many people. The space required to feed and house the entire population is having a more negative effect that driving SUV's. Where people need to live once was vegatation, the rain forest being cleared, the land needed to grow crops. Then once you harvest the crop the decaying plant adds co2 to the atomsphere.

But hey if people think going from oil as a main source to solar/wind(which I think is a good thing for enviromental purposes) or by quit driving SUV's will save a cute and cuddle polar bear(free willy symdrome) that would eat you if it had the chance then they are on some good meds.

Yep.....if the entire world ate as much MEAT as the U.S., we would need two and a half worlds to clear vegetation and raise domestic animals for food. Much has to do with the ever-rising population, clearing of the Amazon rain forest which produces 20% of the world's oxygen, and raising cattle which has a huge carbon footprint and produces tons of methane worse than carbon dioxide!

Hey, maybe Obama can pass a tax and we can pay these guys some money. You know, spread the wealth kind of thing. Koffi Anan will make sure it is spent wisely. He is as good at that kind of thing as Obama is at making us pay.

Give me a freaking break! The world climent has been changing before we were clubbing our mate over the head to take back to the cave for a little boom-boom. These
damn tree huggers just wont quit.

Sure we all realize we need to clean up our act , consume less, be more mindful of our surroundings but now they are throwing some ******** body bag count to the thing.

Let's just take it to the next level and bring some lawyers in so we can sue the world, hell let's just sue ourselves for our own stupid neglect.

Oh for the love of Mike, this is crazy. Yes, the earth is warming. It's a natural cycle! Calm down and quit wasting all this money and time that could be used for better, more pressing issues at the moment.

Sure.....unfortunately, that "natural cycle" has accelerated by 40% in the past 18 years as compared to the 90 years before. When are you DENIALISTS finally going to look at the scientific facts?
