- Agreed, very few if any had survived conflict against the media. Most recent fallen hero was none but HRC who didn''''t even declare war with media...she barely whined about sexism and foul play and she got sac''''ed and buried by the media.

So why are we voting for politicians. We should be voting for news anchormen to run the country. Who''s the pick there? - Reply to this comment
- Sarah Palin:
"The only difference between a Hockey Mom and a pit bull is lipstick."
. . . . . . So, okay, if she wants to put it that way, then I don''t want that lipstick-wearing B*I*T*C*H and her daddy Old McCorpse in the White House.
She''s even more like Bushit than McSame. - Reply to this comment
- peanutcrisp - I''ve been saying the same thing, Conservatives are anything but conservative. They want to use all the natural resources now which means they wont be avaible for future generations. The future is renewable energy. Something conservatives only give lip service.
Palin is a vote for the past. Creationists only want to run your life. Get ready for more Government intrusion in your life if this bunch gets in there. - Reply to this comment
- Most concerning is she is a complete heretic to her claimed fundamental evangelical beliefs. Take her family for example, she couldn''t even discuss birth control or responsible *** to her teenage daughter, and she certainly is not giving her full time and attention to her new born.
Apparently her children are being raised by wolves and that must be why she is jealously supporting their slaughter. - Reply to this comment
- I was scared of McCain but I am absolutely terrified by this woman. She is Mike Huckabee on steroids. Her religious viewpoints should be enough to frighten anyone. These people like her are anxious for the world to end so their Jesus can come down and wisk them all to paradise. Somewhat like the suicide bombers without the 72 virgins. And she didn''t wait to start lying. If you watched her speach at the convention and really paid attention to her words, she lied a number of times. Had I been the least bit tempted to vote for McCain, her nomination is a deal breaker. In fact, there are times when you almost feel that SHE is the presidential candidate, not McCain.

- Conservation of environment and our nature resources doesn''t seem important at all to Palin. Why do they call themselves "conservatives" then??

- McCain and company can whine all day and make totally bull$hit claims about sexism but this woman is downright dangerous. She is very much like Bush in that she is willing to hide from science and manipulate data to justify any position she chooses. Please send this nutcase back to Alaska.

- Well she is God, she knows everything and can do no wrong. Everyone get down and bow before you holy master....hahaha! Impressive that she can read a speech and give so many ugly faces at the world. That was truly inspiring. I can''t wait to hear about the affair she had. She cheated on her husband with his business partner. The truth is soon to come out about how her family really reacted to Bristol''s pregnancy. It wasn''t pretty. She has so many dark secrets. I am going to take a wild guess here that her love affair with the media is soon to be over. Pretty soon it will be back to the scandal that is the Sarah Louise Palin that none of us know but are excited to find out all the dirt on. Woohoo! It''s like the gift that keeps on giving. AMEN!!

- I hope this is in the science section for good reason and not just another smear from the media. "If" the stuff mentioned in the article are true then it''s just another reason GOP shouldn''t take office again in this election. Converstion is key for a civilization to last not comsumption!

- "Like many other Alaska officials, Palin argues her critics don''t understand the North Country".
You are right, we don''t understand that it is more important to hunt animals so that you can have more animals to hunt or to state that the sole purpose of such beautiful country is to drill and drain resources for a country that should instead look at their consumption habits. You are right, we dont understand what that is like. Dang good thing too. And I came from Idaho. - Reply to this comment
- Palin: "She has defended Alaska''s right to shoot down wolves from the air to boost caribou and moose herds for hunters".
That alone makes me sick to my stomach. Lets misbalance nature so that we can shoot more animals. I can see hunting for food because it is needed or to reduce populations due to disease etc. But to hunt so you can have more of the preys food supply to hunt is just wrong. - Reply to this comment
- Who says environmentalists don''t care about areas being deforested? I for one care very much about palm oil plantations destroying the only habitat of Oragatangs, hence putting them in line for extinction in the wild with in possibly 5 yrs. I also care about the mountain gorrillas battle for their homes due to the mining of a mineral which is used in cell phones. And I do not know of any environmentalists that are happy with Bio-fuel, unless they haven''t done their home work. The only way to keep our planet living is by education. The only gratifiaction I get, is waking up in the morning to the sounds of birds, not cars in a Walmart.I have been to the Amazon, it was beautiful, and for it to be deforrested not only hurts the beauty of the region, but also causes mass extinctions and land prone to flooding. Plus, deferrestation is a direct link to Global weather changes.
