This is absurd! I understand the connection that people have with their pets. I was a vet tech for 3 years. I''ve seen people lose their beloved pets/family members to various heartbreaking diseases, cancer included. Cloning the pet that was lost is ridiculous, however, because there are so many dogs that need a home, that need to be rescued from shelters and abuse. She took a chance on a stray pitbull and he turned out to be a wonderful dog. These clones may have his DNA, but they are still not him. They will all have different dispositions and will probably have a much higher risk of dying from cancer than Booger did. She has guaranteed a short life and predictable death sentence for these puppies. Why not take a chance on another pet that needs a home? What a waste of $50,000. This woman needs to be brought back in touch with reality. She is immoral and stupid.
So now if your pit bull kills a toddler and gets put to sleep by the authorities, you can just clone it and repeat the process endlessly. No longer do you have to worry about your pitbull getting loose and killing someone--just save a tissue sample and let them run wild!
