The point of the movie is that Professors who dare to mention INTELLIGENT Design (which is obvious in all living things!) are being silenced and black balled in our country.

It''s funny - science is finally getting it''s own back on the church. For years scientists who had theories that countered the church''s ideas were persecuted (remember Galileo), now those charlatains who resort to church dogma are being fired by scientists. I guess what goes around comes around!!

BTW - no comment on my man and woman piece? And no comment on my "Why would God try to fool mankind by making everything look like evolution??" I await your answers with baited breath.

If you can''t get something from nothing, where do you get God? He seems to be the ultimate "something" to Christians. If nothing existed before him, then you just proved that you believe you can get a might big something from nothing.

Typical intolerant bigoted atheist. All covered in the movie Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed. by nopacifism2

Ben Stein movie Expelled is not a documentary at all, but anti-science propaganda. His implication that Darwin and the science of evolution %u201Cled to%u201D eugenics, Nazis, and Stalinism is ratter offensive

Like many in the Creationist community he equates evolution with atheism. These Creationist have a unfounded fear of the naturalistic explanation to life put forth by evolutionist. For them, a God that does not act supernaturally is equivalent to no god at all.

Agnostics/Atheists now number 1.1 billion world-wide. It is the third most common "belief system" behind Christian and Muslim.

There is one point in the history of the universe that I will allow for the possibility of a supreme being, and that''s probably just that I''m not a good enough physicist to understand it. The Big Bang. All evidence points to its'' happening around 13.6 billion years ago, but my imagination has problems wrapping round and picture of what happened. For that one instant it''s easier to imagine (for me) some cosmic thing clicking its fingers and saying GO! After that science explains everything. The bible provides just one of hundreds of different religious theories written many years ago by people who had no idea about how everything formed. They simply created stories that most satified their audience at the time.

nopacifism2 you will make a fine president someday, in the mold of W. He, too, believes the jury is out on evolution, but we see it occurring in species today, even in ourselves. We are far taller today than just 50 years ago. But if God did not create evolution as part of His great plan, how do you explain its existence today? And if He did, as I assume you must accept (an assumption based purely on the fact that since you had the intellegence to type then surely you have the intellegence to reason, an assumption I should not make) that God must had a plan for it all along. Who are you or me to presume the mind of God? In the Bible, Revelations, it warns about having someone interpreting the words of the Bible for you. Each person should read it and glean the meaning of its worlds for themself. Like I said, read the Bible, not just the parts that you want to read.

"Evolution, I think is one of God''''s greatest creations. Read the Bible again."

Thank you

I am in 100% agreement with this one statement.

Again, whether you are a Christian, Agnostic, Atheist, or even a Scientist, please read The Bible.

There is nothing in there that indicates that God did not "evolve" His creation. Who knows, maybe God was playing with his creation much like a child plays with his clay creation trying to see what else he can come up with.

I very rarely accept many historical books. History books (as well as the bible) were written by people, and are there by, more or less their interpretation of what went on in History. Rarely (not that it doesn''t happen now and then) does compiled documentation tell the ENTIRE story of what really happened in the past. Pick up a 10th grade history book. TONS of stuff missing from there. Besides, historical fact, has nothing to do with teaching a moral lesson, which, the bible attempts to do. So, there is no telling what is really FACT in the bible and what is not since it is someone''s interpretation of what is right and wrong.
